Ditch the party

“Shepard, we’re going to dip,” Jack said. “We have some… business to attend to.”

“Do what needs to be done,” Shepard nodded. “And thank you both for everything.”

“Don’t get yourself killed just yet,” Jack said.

“No promises,” Shepard said.

“Well, at least give Liara an extra kiss from me,” Jack smirked.

Shepard blushed as Miranda and Jack slipped away from the party.

“So… the question is… where do we go from here?” Jack said.

Miranda thought for a moment. “Kasumi what would it take for you to sneak us onto the Normandy?”

Kasumi raised an eyebrow. “Permission to record of course,” Kasumi said.

“Only if you delay its publication till after the war is over,” Miranda said.

“Deal,” Kasumi said. “Come on. This’ll be easy.”

Miranda and Jack nodded as they followed Kasumi to the Normandy.
