How do relieve the need?

Distant Vacation

Most places of work gave women a couple of weeks of heat leave. Although the board of education idiots tried to deny me such a thing, my union rep explained that it wouldn't look very good on such a reputable college for one of their teachers to become a student's slutty plaything. They eventually agreed and I soon found myself heading to a resort in a remote little place known to most everyone as Miotawa or The Great Forest. It was a conifer forest the size of the human planet of Earth. I always loved the woods and I had never really been anywhere on Eden other than the continent of Sol. And even then I've only been to cities of Earth and Mars.

The resort I was going to was more of a retreat, but they were next to a lake with hiking trails, kayaking, and even bicycles to ride. The plane I was on landed at the closest airport on the island nation of Vega. I would then take a ferry to another small town and stay a night there before taking a bus ride to the resort. Seeing as I was also a teacher, I did decide to do a little bit of reading about the area as I was traveling.

Apparently, Miotawa was home to one of the last primitive furred tribes on Eden. I was actually completely unaware that such tribes still existed. I know very little of Eden was actually inhabited. I think the stats said that 90% of the planet was untouched by development. It was a big planet. That 10% of cities also had a larger population than the planet Earth. There were actually a ton of laws prohibiting the over development of the natural wildlife and resources.

Alintal, the lake I was staying at, was known for the floating islands. Although the resort owners had REALLY wanted to build a resort on them, such a thing was very strictly prohibited. The government issued such threats as an exile from the planet. "We are not humans, we do not stand such willing and wanton destruction of our natural world. Those islands will never be touched by development. And if you so much as breath on the great falls that flow from them, I will personally shove my boot up your ass so far, the shoelaces will come out of your nose," said the President on the subject. "Also, they're not your land. Your land extends only 20 yards into the lake, those islands belong to the Kinila tribe and I would like to avoid a war with them."

The Kinila spoke almost entirely ancient Edian and were an extremely magic forward race. It is said that not a single one of them doesn't practice magic in some way. This has earned them the nickname of the Witch Tribe. However, there was a handful of the tribe that acted as translators. Usually known as Ambassadors, they were considered important to the tribe.

This is what I learned just on the plane ride. There were reports of a mess of legal issues over the property the resort was on and the fact that the owners were still fighting for those floating islands. Made me second guess my choice of resort, but I also figured since I was out there already, might as well go all the way.

What happens in the morning?
