After chasing off the crowds, you all find a place to sit down. Trevor sighs as he sits, and you can see the tension lift from him.

However, Daigo is first to speak. “So, do you usually jump into risky spots like that, Josh?”

Before you can answer, there’s a chorus of “Yes!” From the girls. Daigo chuckles. “That answers that. It seems you can handle yourself, however.”

Maya grins. “He’s good at getting out of trouble he gets himself into.”

Anna nods. “Master is sometimes reckless, but fortunately he has good support.”

Daigo chuckles. “So ‘master’ is ok, Josh?”

You blush. “It’s...Anna’s thing. She likes being a submissive servant. Trust me though, she’s just as much an equal as anyone else in the family.”

“Hey, I’m not judging. I know I’m ‘the dad’ and all that, but I’ve been around a long time. You’d need to go pretty far to shock me. As long as my little girl is happy, I’m happy.”

Trevor speaks up. “Not to interrupt the touching family moment, but I need to ask, now what?”

You smile. “For you, be the king. You have my support, and it seems the support of most of the people in the court. They didn’t seem upset by what happened. For the rest of us, we get a good nights sleep, and discuss our next target.”

Sadie pipes up. “And food! All the excitement makes me hungry! And then Trevor needs a party! Don’t kings get parties?”

Kali chuckles. “I think it’s called a coronation, Sadie. And I imagine that takes time to plan. We need to find more allies, and get ready for people who resist the changes.”

Lynn nods. “Th-theres a lot of people who profit off the suffering of the weak. They will hear of what w-we did, and move against us.”

You sigh. “It’s unfortunate, but true. That’s why we need to find allies that agree with our morals.”

Trevor speaks up. “Unfortunately, the human kingdoms are rife with corruption and criminal networks. Your best bets are with the elves or the dwarves.”

Yura suddenly stands. Her purple eyes glow as she speaks. “It’s happening again. The vision. Another face is clear.” She looks at you. “An elf this time. She has green hair. Her back is turned, but she is raising a wall of vines.”

Everyone looks at Yura, who sinks back into her chair. You nod. “Well, now we know two of the three. Sort of. Doesn’t really narrow down our choice though. Still, thank you, Yura. Your guidance is always welcome.”

Yura blushes and nods.

You sigh. “How about we sleep on it. We don’t need to rush, not yet. The world won’t be changed overnight.”
