Discovery of power on the command deck

You land in the supercarrier's vast hanger bay, taking note of the neat rows of empty fighters already inside. You head towards the enemy command deck, hopeful of finding more answers there. There are no signs of enemy presence within the ship. The enemy command deck unfortunately offers little evidence, the systems wiped. As you are about to return to your flagship, and order the supercarrier to be brought back to Lore for further inspection, a small handwritten note catches your eye. You lean down, picking it up.

Read this carefully, for you have but one chance. A gift has been given to you, conquerer of the Ascendant. Now you wield the hammer of control, an object of power long forgotten in history.
