Erica's attempts to keep quiet were not successful. Before long, her mother had noticed that her daughter was making strange noises and she decided to investigate. "Honestly Erica," she began saying as she turned to face her daughter. "It is unbecoming of a young woman to make such strange noises simply because they are upset. In fact... Oh, my!" she exclaimed as she noticed the limbs that were reaching around her daughter's seat.
