Quickly getting a shower, throwing on some clothes and checking his phone, empty of notifications as most days, John heads downstairs for breakfast, meanwhile I just follow along for the ride, unable to do much but observe what is going on.
I don't have any siblings and my dad is already at work at this time of morning, so the only one to greet me was my mother, preparing for work herself as she quickly ate some toast while sipping on some coffee. She wasn't the cliche mother that made breakfast every morning and took care of he child, she was a typical working woman that gave the minimum amount of attention to her family while her priority was working, it wasn't the best childhood.
In terms of how my mom looked, she wasn't anything special and wouldn't be apart of anyone's fantasies, she was a very average 43-year-old woman, with wrinkles to match and graying hair that was dyed her former dark brown color.
