Disadvantages
Miles has a lot of things going on for him, but also has his shortcomings. What is that?
Bad Liar
Miles has many qualities, but a poker face is not one of them. The moment something isn't quite right, his expression gives it away before his mouth even opens. He stumbles, he over-explains, he looks exactly the way a person looks when they are not being entirely truthful. In a world where a well-timed white lie can smooth things over, Miles is almost always caught out. It has gotten him into trouble more than once, and it will again.
Forgetful
Miles's mind moves fast, sometimes too fast. Deadlines slip through the cracks, names vanish the moment after introductions, and important things have a habit of disappearing into the back of his head never to resurface at the right moment. It isn't carelessness exactly, it's just the way he is wired. The problem is that the world doesn't tend to be very forgiving about it.
Distracted
Focus has always been a moving target for Miles. Something shinier, louder, or more interesting is never far away, and when it shows up, whatever he was supposed to be doing tends to suffer for it. Conversations drift, assignments pile up, and opportunities pass by while his attention is somewhere else entirely. He means well. He just doesn't always stay on task long enough for it to matter.
