Disabling the engine

You take your men and fly towards the target. You encounter heavy resistance, but they can't stop you, the enemy fighters get shot down in your way without exception! You manage to destroy a squadron of droid tri-fighters, by sending a proton torpedo into the hangar as they were about to leave. The damage inside might not be critical for the ship, but the ship's commander droid saw it fit to close the hangar and send no further fighters against you.

Clone pilot: Superb shot Lana!

Lana: Thanks! I spent a lot of time in my youth practicing in the starfighter simulators of the Jedi temple, I know a few moves!

Clone pilot: You make it sound like a video game!

Lana: Well, if this is a game, we only have one life in it, so don't die on me!

Clone pilot: I am not planning to! Go, take down the engines!

You fly to the back of the ship and the bombers send in all their torpedoes at the target. The engines explode, making the ship unmaneuverable.

Lana: Good job boys! Head back to General Skywalker and help him out if he needs assistance.

Anakin: Negative Lana, I am about to blow up the whole thing just about now! Stay away from it if you can!

Lana: Roger that!

You all fly away from the ship, when you look back, all you see are a few torpedoes flying right at the command centre, making a big blast, before it spreads to the whole ship, leaving nothing behind but small damaged pieces of metal!

Anakin: A great firework to conclude our mission! Now, what is Obi-Wan doing down there?

As you turn towards the other ship, you spot General Grievous's personal fighter leave its hangar.

Anakin: Grievous! That explains why Obi-Wan is late again! But unfortunately, his ship is too far from us to catch!

Lana: I don't think so! I can get him!

You turn all power to your engines and start chasing him.

Anakin: Lana, turn back, you can't catch him in time! He'll jump to hyperspace soon anyway! If you turn all your power to the engines your front will be defenseless should he fire back! Don't risk it, let him go!
