What next?

Dinner

For you dinner was pleasant - you certainly enjoyed the view - but there was tension in the anticipation of the two girls whose virginity you were soon to take.

Middle Eastern family dynamics are inherently patriarchal. The man works to provide for his wife/wives, and/or children, and the women take on a traditional role at home. As the provider, the man is in charge of the household his women follow and adhere to his decisions, or likely get spanked for being disobedient. Though not normally as quickly arranged as yours, for most couples love isn't fostered until a few years into the marriage, with partners wedding soon after meeting each other and developing their relationship following their wedding. You reckoned the girls would learn to love and cherish you with time, but in the short-term they would obey you out of duty, and out of fear of reprise. They would cook and clean and do housework and take care of all your sexual needs, but this workload split between four people wouldn't be especially intense and difficult, and with all your money (or all of what was Ahmed's money) they would live an enviable life style. You supposed that whilst you probably weren't their dream husband, they probably realised their life could be a lot worse, so long as they could grin and bear the perhaps painful and perhaps degrading tasks you demanded of them.
