Dinner With Daisy

You'll be the first to admit it, you didn't even think of the repercussions of seeing Daisy. In fact, all you could think about, aside from Jason's visit, was Daisy.

After Ingrid showed you the TMZ pictures, now all you could think about as you got ready for your date was the downsides of seeing Daisy. As those thoughts consumed your focus, you mindlessly got dressed and took an Uber to the restaurant. Surprisingly you weren't as late as you had anticipated and luckily, it had appeared Daisy herself was running late.

Fortunately, the restaurant you had chosen was a hidden gem in NYC. With your newfound concerns about privacy, the fact this place offered private tables behind curtains made for the perfect environment. Usually it had a long waitlist but the owner was a regular at Carpe Diem and the two of you have a working arrangement that a booth or table will always be available for the other person.

The cute waitress leads you to your table and you immediately order a shot and she promptly brings it to you. You aren't normally a big drinker but with the stresses of the day, you need something to calm your nerves.

Unfortunately the shot does nothing to calm you. You thought about ordering another but decided against it. As such, you impatiently wait for Daisy's arrival. And you wait. And you wait. And wait. And wait.

You constantly check your phone and even send her a few texts. But no answer.

The waitress comes by a few times to check up on you and even the owner stops by to chat a bit.

Finally, after a few hours of waiting, you decide to call it quits and leave.
