Dinner Time

We order our food at the diner. I order the burger and fries and Tamny orders the fish and chips. She tells me she is staying at the Days Inn up the street and tomorrow she starts riding back to North Dakota.

"The engine in your car sounds fantastic, what do you have in there Jennifer?" I tell her I put in a 426 Chrysler Hemi and new transmission." I've still got some work to do. Mostly cosmetic stuff like paint job and new interior. I'll try to do as much of that myself but most of that is beyond my capabilities." Tammy asks me about what paint job I'm planning on,then says." Please don't tell me orange with a confederate flag and your gonna name it the General Lee."

I laugh." No, even though it's the same model and year as the General Lee I'm definitely not naming it after a confederate general." She gives a sigh of relief. "What are you gonna do?" Ive already decided what it's gonna look like." It's gonna be black with the 01 on the door being red with a white outline. On the roof it's gonna be light grey with a painting of the Grim Reaper looking front ward with the name Grim Reaper painted in calligraphy on the side of the roof."

" that sounds great" I ask her about her bike and the flame job in her gas tank and tell her I love the pain job." Thanks, it cost an arm and a leg but it was well worth it." We finish our meals and talk a bit more then exchange contact information. I promise her I'll send pictures when the car is finished. She kisses me on the lips and rides back to her hotel.
