Dinner Plans

With Cortona and Daemon working together it wasn't hard to locate all the money he stole from the casino over the years. They even located the various drug stashes were in the casino some were in permanently reserved rooms a few were blatantly placed in the supply rooms for the casino. Now technically it wasn't illegal to have these drugs since there were various things to cure addiction and side affects for the recreational use for which they are intended but that is only true if they were bought through legal suppliers which unfortunately none of these products are that isn't even considering the fact that this casino doesn't have an active drug distribution license. Which is why I am now face to face with a Nightwing (aka Dick Grayson) cop who is none too pleased.

Nightwing: So you want me to believe that you had no involvement in this illegal drug operation inside your own casino?

Antonio: Considering the fact that I had proof of Michael's misdeeds dating back before I had even acquired the club and the fact I am the one reporting them I should say so

Nightwing: Then why did you siphon money out of his accounts that were the from those "misdeeds" as you put it?

Antonio: That was me reacquiring the stolen assets from the former GM as such is perfectly legal given the contract that was signed Michael at the start of his employment and according to Prime World law as this contract was registered with a Kree supreme intelligence that works at the Prime World government Head Quarters meaning the contract was verified and approved there so I have in no way broken the law especially considering that none of it was transferred into my personal accounts

Nightwing: Asshole like you think your above the law that you will never face the consequences but your goin to slip up and when you do I will be there to take you down!

Without waiting for a response DICK Grayson hauled off all the criminals with the other law enforcement officers in their various shuttles I wondered how the fuck did that jackass come to the conclusion that I was the evil mastermind behind all of it I gave him the evidence, the various confessions and allowed them to conduct a thorough investigation with the complete cooperation of the staff and myself so how was I still somehow the bad guy in his eyes.

After the police were gone the newly created Aneglus warriors were then assigned as the new security team for the entire casino under Cortona and Daemon's supervision as the GM position it would remain vacant for the time being until at such time a new was found either from within or through outside candidates although I would love to place one of my girls there apparently there was some sort of red tape that prevented characters from holding certain position without government approval. I could have just used this opportunity to just move Kel up the proverbial latter into the GM position but I don't think she would approve and although I knew her in high school our recent conversation has already proven that I never really knew her as I couldn't tell she liked me back then and I have been advised multiple times that I shouldn't make decision with my dick.

Since I figured I had some down time in between crises I decided to contact my some of my Prime World paramours and invite them out for the evening maybe a nice restaurant or a trip somewhere hell even a walk through the park like they used to do back before RealDreams and space travel.

My first call was to Lisa.

Antonio: Hey Lisa I finished a work problem earlier than I expected so I was wondering if you had time tonight then maybe we could could go get something to eat together

Lisa: Ant as much as I would love that I'm actually on my way to my sisters baby shower so I will have to take a rain check

Antonio: It's okay I totally understand tell give your sister my best wishes for her and her baby

Lisa: Will do bye

So that was a bust when the hell did Elizabeth get pregnant? Setting that aside for later as I should probably get her a baby shower gift latter my next call was to Marley.

Marley: Hey Antonio what's up

Antonio: Just called to see if you have plans this evening

Marley: I'm going to meet with my family this evening to sort some stuff out and as much as I would like to have you with me I think it's too soon and this very personal sorry

Antonio: No, no I get it bye

Is the universe somehow against me? No that couldn't be it I was just unlucky today that's all I should have made plans in advance instead of expecting to just have time for me they had lives of their own and I have to respect that. I wonder if I should call Kel or would that be inappropriate? Fuck it the worse that could happen she says no like Lisa and Marley.

Kel: Hey Boss man you need something?

Antonio: Hey Kel it's nothing work related just wondering if your free tonight?

Kel: Oh on is my superior looking for quid pro quo!?

Antonio: No! That's not what I'm asking!

Kel: Oh so your commanding it, I should've known that once you had power over me you would try to take advantage of me!

Antonio: NO, NO, NO! That is not what this is!

Kel: Ha ha ha ha! Relax I know you wouldn't do that to me I'm just busting you balls. So what's up cutie pie?

Antonio: I..I...I..

Kel: Awww! Did break you already? Let me guess you want to ask me out to dinner? Great I accept! Pick some place nice it's been a while since I got to dress up and I want to wow you! So swing by say around 7pm alright see you soon!
