How will the date with Asa go?

Dinner And A Movie

About thirty seconds later, Patrick heard someone rushing toward the door and the next thing he knew, the door was swinging open and a beautiful sight awaited him. Patrick couldn’t help but smile at Asa, as she was looking hot as ever. Her blonde hair was falling down around her shoulders and the top that she was wearing was blue and was showing a lot of cleavage. The jeans she was wearing were skinny jeans, so they were hugging her lower body just right.

“Hey Patrick. Are you ready to go?” Asa asked.

Patrick finally came out of the trance that he was in when he was checking Asa out and said, “Yeah, I am good to go. You look beautiful.”

“Thanks. You don’t look too bad yourself.” Asa said as she pulled the door shut behind her and they both made their way to Patrick’s car.

Patrick being the gentleman that he is made sure to open the door for Asa and then close it behind her before making his way over to the door so that he could get into his car and drive to the restaurant that he had made reservations at. It was a nice Italian place in town that he decided to take Asa to.

“This place is nice. Are you sure we can afford it?” Asa asked as they were seated in the restaurant.

“Don’t worry about that. I have it handled.” Patrick said and Asa smiled back at him because she knew that this guy was inside of him all along.

“If it is too much, don’t be afraid to let me pay for my meal.” Asa said.

“Now what kind of date would I be if I let you pay?” Patrick asked.

“I appreciate your attention to detail, Pat, but you do know that things do work like that anymore. It is common for people to switch things up nowadays.” Asa said.

“That might be true, but my parents taught me the old way of doing things, so I think I will stick with that.” Patrick said.

“That’s fine. I just wanted you to know that I wouldn’t think bad of you if you let me pay for some of the bill.” Asa said.

“Okay. I will keep that in mind. So, how has your day been?” Patrick asked as he wanted to change the topic.

“I just relaxed for most of the day, then I spent hours trying to figure out what to wear tonight. That was kind of stressful.” Asa said.

“So, she was stressed about this too. At Least I wasn’t the only one.” Patrick thought to himself, but then he said out loud, “Well, you picked well.” Patrick said with a smile on his face.

“Thanks Pat. I’m glad you like it, but if you don’t mind me asking, what do you like most about my outfit?” Asa asked as she smirked at him.

“Are you flirting with me or are you actually wondering that? I don’t want to fall into some sort of trap here.” Patrick said.

“I would say it is a bit of both and there is no trap here, so tell me what you like the most.” Asa said, still wearing her smirk at seeing Patrick squirm in his seat.

“Well, I like the way that your jeans show off your ass and legs. The top is nice too. It is showing just enough cleavage off.” Patrick said finally taking a deep breath after that was out.

“Oh, you like my ass, huh? Are you an ass or a tits man, Patrick? Asa asked, still picking on her friend.

“If I am being honest, I like them both equally, but if I am made to pick, I would have to say that I am an ass man.” Patrick said.

“Well, I guess I am lucky that I have both then.” Asa said with a wink and then she went for a change in topic. “How was your day?”

“It was fine. It took me a while to get ready too. I think I was nervous about this for some reason.” Patrick said as the waiter came to the table and took their order.

Once the waiter left the table, Asa returned to the conversation. “You were nervous? I was too. I thought I was the only one.” Asa said seriously.

“Yeah. I don’t get it. We have been friends for years and we have been out to eat with each other many times.” Patrick said.

“I know what you mean. I don’t get it either. I just want to have fun and I would say that we are off to a good start so far.” Asa said with a smile toward Patrick.

“Yeah, we always have fun.” Patrick said and the food came out so the two of them started to eat in companionable silence.

Once they were done eating, they talked for a bit longer and the waiter brought the bill so that Patrick could pay it and then they got up and left the restaurant so that they could make it to the movie on time.

. . .

When Patrick pulls up to the movie theater, he pulls into a parking spot and both he and Asa get out of the car and make their way up to the ticket area and see what is playing now. There was a good mix of action movies and comedies. Once they looked through the list Patrick looked toward Asa to see what she wanted to see.

“I know it is a cartoon and you might not be into it, but I really want to see Inside Out 2.” Asa said.

“I enjoyed the first one, so this one should be pretty good too. I will get the tickets.” Patrick said.

“No, I got the tickets. You already paid for dinner.” Asa said.

Patrick went to argue, but Asa could him off, “Patrick, let me do this. I want to feel like I contributed to the date.”

“Fine.” Patrick said as Asa went up and bought two tickets to the movie and they walked inside.

“Do you want popcorn? I am still stuffed from dinner. I don’t think I can eat anymore.” Asa said.

“No. I am still full too. I don’t need anything to eat.” Patrick said and Asa nodded at him as they made their way to the theater that their movie was playing in and they found seats in the middle of the theater, so that they weren’t too high but not too close either.

They talked for a while until the previews for other movies came on and they were already talking about which of them they would like to go and see with each other. Soon the movie started and they stopped talking so that they could focus on the movie.

Every now and then they would comment on something that happened in the movie, from Asa saying she had some of these same problems when she reached puberty, to just the two of them laughing at something funny in the movie.

As the movie continued to play, the two teens found themselves leaning closer and closer to each other to the point that Asa ended up leaning her head onto Patrick’s shoulder and he put his arm around her shoulders to bring her closer in. It just felt natural and they didn’t even think about it when it happened.

They spent most of the movie in this position. Every now and then, Patrick would turn his head to look at Asa and he couldn’t help but smile at how comfortable she looked. He could definitely get used to this. He didn’t know that he and Asa would click like this, but he was happy that they were able to. He still wasn’t ready for a relationship with anyone, but he could definitely see one with Asa in the future.

Asa was having similar feelings. She was feeling so close to Patrick right now that she was wondering if they could end up together for real. She wouldn’t be opposed to that in any way. They had been friends for as long as she could remember and there had always been this thing between them that just clicked and she was wondering if things had been pushing them this way for years. She wasn’t ready for a relationship, but Patrick was definitely at the top of the list when she was ready for one.

Once the movie was over, the two of them looked at each other and they were in a trance because they were just staring into each other’s eyes. Asa was the first to come to her senses as she gave herself a hard shake of her head to shake herself out of it.

“So, I think they need to clean this place up for the late movie. Let’s get out of here.” Asa said and Patrick nodded.

“Yeah, we should get going.” Patrick said as the two of them made it out of the theater and to his car.

Once they were inside, the two of them started to talk about the movie and laughing at some of the funny parts that they brought up as they made their way closer to Asa’s house. Asa was getting nervous because she didn’t want the night to end because she had had so much fun tonight. Patrick was feeling the same way, but it was getting late and most of the places that they could go and hang out were closing down because of the time.

Sooner than either of them liked, Patrick pulled up in front of Asa house and it was like everything deflated inside of them. They wanted to be together for a bit longer, but they didn’t have anywhere to go but to one of their houses.

Patrick got out of his car and made his way around to Asa’s side and opened the door for her. They both walked up to the door and stopped to look at each other. They just stared at each other for a while, before Patrick finally broke the silence.

“I had fun tonight. We should do this again.” Patrick said.

“I had fun too and we should definitely do this again.” Asa said.

Patrick leaned in to give her a peck on the cheek, but Asa turned her head so that he kissed her lips instead. It started off as a gentle kiss, but there was a spark there and they both started kissing harder and faster. They soon pulled apart to catch their breath. Asa smiled at him and asked, “Would you like to come in?”

Patrick just nodded and waited for Asa to open the door and he followed her in. It looked like her family was either out or they were already asleep. This made it easy for the teens to make it up to Asa’s room without anyone knowing. Neither of them knew what the night held for them, but they were at least looking forward to making out some more if nothing else. If it went further than that, they wouldn’t mind that either.

What happens in Asa's room?
