Lamar barges into Diamond's classroom together with Angela

Lamar: MOM, WHAT THE FUCK ARE WE GONNA DO ABOUT THIS

Diamond gets up from behind her desk

Diamond: Watch your mouth boy. Have you forgotten who you're talking to, or do I need to call your father?

Lamar: No, Mom, I'm sorry

Diamond: Come with me

Diamond: To an empty classroom. I don't want people walking in on this conversation

They move to an unused classroom, and Angela takes a seat in the teacher's chair

Angela: It's not your classroom

Lamar: Mom focus, i have those tryouts in a month, and now I can't go because of that white boy

Diamond: I am well aware, but you didn't help yourself by talking back to him during his speech. He has his eyes on you now, even more than before

Angela: Can't you just fix Lamar's grades again, as we did before

Diamond: No, he took that power away from all the teachers, we now must submit the grades to him and he will put them in the system

Lamar: Alright, he has his eyes on me, but what about you, Mom? Can't you just win his trust

Diamond: Unlikely. I was late for the staff meeting yesterday and went against his decisions; I'm on thin ice with him

Lamar: What does that even mean

Angela: It means he's looking for a reason to fire her

Lamar: What

Diamond: If he fires me now, I can start a case that I was fired for no good reason, but if I break school rules or do something illegal

Angela: She'll be fucked, and that's what he's waiting for

Lamar: So I'm screwed

Diamond: Not necessarily. Like he said in his speech, all the students are now on the same level, which means you'll need to get good enough grades, your average will need to be a 7.0 or above

Angela: You are so dumb sometimes, you need to score a 7.0 or above on all your tests and assignments

Diamond: he will most likely allow you to go to the tryouts if you're able to do that, if you're able to behave normally that is, unless you want to be expelled like your teammate, because that is what will happen if you keep bullying other students

Lamar: I'm not smart enough for that

Angela: We know, but I'm sure I can convince some of the nerds in all your classes to help you

Diamond: Be careful, if you're caught you can say goodbye to those tryouts

Lamar: Fine, I'll be careful

Diamond: One more thing, you keep Kira out of this mess, tha last thing I want for your sister to get involved

Angela: Why can't she help

Lamar: Kira is very close to dad, the talk once a week on the phone using FaceTime. She can't lie to him

Diamond: If my husband finds out that Lamar is cheating he can say goodbye to his life, as he'll drag Lamar to the military

Angela's phone starts ringing and she sees it's Ava

Angela: I need to get this

She answers the phone

Angela: Hey, Mom, what's up

Ava: I need you to drive Lana and Todd home

Angela: I'm not putting that loser in my car

Ava: I don't want to hear your complaints. I invited the headmaster over for dinner, so you will behave yourself and do as I ask, and you better be on your best behaviour, or so help me god

Angela: But

Ava hangs up

Angela: Great, the headmaster is coming over for dinner, and if that wasn't bad enough, I need to drive Lana and Todd back home

Diamond: Wait, does that mean you still have room for one more

Angela: Yeah

Diamond: Why don't you join them Lamar

Lamar: What

Diamond: It would be a good way to show the headmaster, that you really wanna improve yourself

Angela: It would be a good way to start, and at least that way I won't be bored out of my mind

Lamar: Alright, I guess

Diamond: Remember, no matter what he does or says, you will be on your best behaviour

Back in your office you smile after just having watched and listened to their entire conversation thanks to the camera system
