Dev Talks to a Old Gentleman in an Expensive Suit

Dev notices Jessica speaking with a man in a fancy looking suit, with short grey hair and well-groomed beard. There conversation seems to come to an end and Dev finds this opportunity to make acquaintances with the man. Clearly well-accomplished, Dev thanked himself for doing some prior research on the type of people that he may meet tonight.

"Hello there, my name's Dev, how are you?" Dev introduces himself, then continues, "Aren't you the Head of Employment at Merino Creek Solicitors? David, right?"

David was endeared to be recognised by the young trainee and immediately took a liking to him. "Why yes, that is correct. How do you do, young man? You said your name is Dev? Where are you stationed currently?"

"At Cummings & Ryder in ther Property Litigation team. I've only recently started but getting to grips with the way it all works!"

Dev continues the conversation for a few minutes. David appreciated Dev not drinking tonight, saying it was "best to avoid too much of that stuff".

"Well my boy, if you should ever find yourself in particular likings to Employment, we should be happy to accept you should you ever wish to apply and qualify with us." David seemed overly posh as he spoke but clearly, Dev made a good impression on him.
