Dev Talks to Jessica

Dev sees Jessica leaving a conversation with an older gentleman and sees this as a good opportunity to further their earlier chat.

"Hi Jessica, making the rounds, I see. So how long have you known Susanne for?" Dev said.

"Oh for the better part of a decade. So how's your experience as a trainee going so far?" Jessica said, eyeing the soft drink in Dev's hand.

"It's been quite the learning curve, but I'm enjoying every moment of it. I feel like every day is a new challenge, but that’s what I signed up for, right?"

"Absolutely! The law can be intense, but if you stick with it and have the drive to pull through, I can see you going far. Do you have any particular area you're gravitating towards?"

"I'm in Property Litigation with Susanne for now, but I think I'm quite interested in Corporate Law. Working with businesses and their owners. I can see myself in that field as well."

Dev continues the converation along and while mostly formal and impersonal, gets a solid connection out of it.
