Derek and Maggie

The screen of Derek's phone lit up as a new emailed arrived. The movie that Maggie and Derek had been watching, had just finished up and the two were just hanging out reminiscing about their time in college. Derek picked up his phone to read the email. "Guess what?" Derek said excitedly as he looked up at Maggie. "Andy filled out the survey!" He held the phone out so that Maggie could read the email. Maggie quickly skimmed the email and got up to mix herself another drink.

"Alright so how does this work?" Maggie asked as she prepared another screwdriver.

"Umm I don't really know... I guess we open the site and just edit his responses." Derek skimmed through the email a couple more times. "Yeah there aren't many details. I guess we are just supposed to edit his responses..." Derek paused to think. "You wanna do this on your laptop?"

Maggie sighed. "Sure, but don't get any viruses on it." Derek rolled his eyes and sat down at her small desk. Opening a private browser Derek logged into his email and opened up the link embedded in the email. A fairly plain website opened up and a message was displayed in the middle of the page. Derek began to skim the message, as Maggie pulled up a chair and began skimming the message herself.

"Seems straightforward. We just edit his responses and then something special is supposed to happen I guess..." Derek said turning to Maggie.

"Huh I thought this would be more exciting." Maggie sounded disappointed. "I'm guessing female Andy would probably be a lot like male Andy...." Being a bit overweight herself Maggie held off any more comments about what female Andy might look like.

"How about we make it interesting. What if we take turns... or flip a coin to see who gets to make the edits?" Derek said, hoping to perk up Maggie.

"I guess this could be kind of interesting..." Maggie paused to take a drink. "I mean if we got really colorful with our edits it could be kind of funny..." Maggie paused and smirked at Derek. "Alright, deal!" She extended her hand to shake. Derek shook her hand back.
