Departure

As I walked through the schoolyard, I heard the sound of a rushing stream.

I turned my head to find behind that stream, Katarina talking with her fiancée Giorno.

After making it normal for him to happily accept canceling the engagement, I knew there wouldn’t be any bad blood which I was (very much) grateful for.

But alas, all good things must come to an end.

And that’s why telling the girls what I must will be quite difficult.

Later that evening, I gathered my entire harem together and they all stood before me curiously.

“I’m to guess you’re all wondering why I’ve brought you here.”

They all nodded.

Letting out a sigh, I stood up from the seat I had sitting in and bowed my head.

“I’m sorry everyone, but I’m afraid I must depart for now. I seek to add more to the harem, but if I’m to do that, I must leave here first. So please…please wait until I come to bring you all with me!”

This was always the most painful part of the plan.

I knew a base was important and had an idea of what to do, but I knew it was still something I’d have to push towards.

Silence entered the room.

“I see. Good luck Master.”

I raised my head in surprise.

“We look forward to your return Master.”

“Don’t forget about us okay.”

“Wait… he’s leaving!?”

Other than Katarina who seemed to have just understood my words, the rest accepted them without a second thought.

They smiled at me the same way they had been the days they became my slaves and rather than feeling guilt, it only filled my chest with happiness.

“I promise I’ll return soon!”

I shouted as they all nodded in understanding accept for the one who still felt confused about the situation.

After the group left, I let out a sigh of relief as I locked the door behind them and began to open a portal.

Taking a deep breath, I thought about everything I had to do to get up to this point.

In the end, I was satisfied with the result.

With that, I stepped into the portal once more prepared for what was to come.
