Dennis shows off his wealth

Lauren paused as she followed Dennis to his car.

"You drive a Lamborghini?" She asked, shocked.

"That's right." He grinned. "Are you a fan of fast cars?"

"Well... I guess..." Lauren tried to give as mild a response as she could. She got into the passenger side as Dennis turned on the motor. As the powerful engine roared Lauren tensed. She was walking around so aroused, and the vibration of her seat felt good... very good! Dennis eyed her, noting her wriggling in the seat in a rather sensual manner. Grinning, he revved the engine, watching Lauren rub her knees together before he gunned it down the street.

A short, very fast drive later and they pulled up in front of 'The Crown'. Lauren blinked in surprise as they got out of the car.

"We're going here?" Lauren asked.

It was the most expensive, exclusive restaurant in town! Dennis just smiled at her and walked in.

"A table for two." He said the host.

"I'm sorry sir, we are booked out for the next two weeks. So, unless you have a reservation..."

"I'm sure my name is on there somewhere." Dennis said.

As he spoke and gestured to the list... with three hundred dollar bills in his hand. Lauren stared in amazement as the host looked around, then took the bills.

"Ah, there your name is!" The host said, pretending to check the list. "We have our best table set aside for you. Right this way."

He led Lauren and Dennis through the restaurant to a well lit table near the jazz band softly playing. They were handed menus as the host walked away.

"I didn't know you were so rich!" Lauren commented.

"Yeah, I've done good on the stock market." Dennis made up on the spot. "I just don't like to brag about it."

Well, Lauren thought. Dennis might be a loser who was way beneath her (despite everything she hung onto this view. Her self esteem relied on putting others below her), but at least she was getting a fancy meal out of it. She'd been wanting to come to the crown her whole life! She might as well try to enjoy the evening...
