Delilah and Lexi are discussing something

It looks like Delilah's got some kind of problem with Lexi right now, because she's over there talking to her and it's getting pretty heated. Should you inject yourself into the situation? Yes.

Delilah's wearing a dark and stretchy looking full-body fabric, covered over by little pieces of boiled black leather on the chest, shoulders, forearms, thighs, and shins, as well as a little belt. You don't like her, so it looks horrible. There are two sickles tucked into the black leather belt, and some other rectangular prisms of stuff that you don't recognise. They might be bombs.

Lexi's wearing a light grey stretchy looking full-body fabric. Oh, it's -- it's the same as Delilah's, they ordered the same thing. The only difference (except for the fabric colour) is that Lexi's boiled leather bits are a light brown, which looks really nice on the light grey bodysuit beneath. It looks sleek, flexible, and comfortable -- awesome for her! Hers also looks a bit more stretched vertical, because she's tall and Delilah's short. That's probably what Delilah's so mad about.

Also, for her weapons, Lexi's got{if Weapon == 1} the same two electrified batons that you have, except they're held in two little leather sheathes that pop out from the back of her leather armour -- she must've got it custom made! Anyway, that's awesome that you and her have the same weapon, because it means that it was a great choice! U-unlike the armour part, which was a great choice for Lexi, but a horrible choice for Delilah.{else} those two electrified batons that you were also looking at when choosing your stuff. They stick out of little brown leather sheathes that pop out of the back of her leather armour -- she must've got it custom, somehow! They're made of steel and painted black, and they sort of bulge out into a bulb at one end. That bulb end has a silver core, surrounded by a cage of the same black steel which the rest of the baton's made of, and it probably where the electricity goes. How cool!{endif}

{else}As you approach, you also get to check out the equipment that Lexi has as well. Oh, so that's why Delilah's so angry -- Lexi's armour is the same as hers, except the leather bits are light brown instead of black and the bodysuit underneath is light grey instead of also black. It also shaped like if Delilah's got stretched vertically, because Lexi is tall and Delilah is short. Lexi's is definitely way better.

{endif}They're arguing pretty intensely as you get closer. Well, Delilah is, Lexi's just kind of taking it.

"And what are those stupid things for?" Delilah gestures to the batons poking up from Lexi's back. "You gonna masturbate with those vibrators? Hope your squirt gets in the monsters' eyes?"

Geez, dirty and harsh in one. You didn't think it could be done.

"Nope!" Lexi replies brightly, smiling like always and not looking even a little bit bothered. You're doing all of the being bothered by Delilah for her. "I chose 'em because of the electricity. Makes it way easier to thrash people in metal armour. Plus, I bet I can play the xylophone with them too, when the electricity's off."

Delilah looks confused. You feel confused, but cannot see yourself and so can only guess what you may look like. Do monsters wear armour? It would make a lot of sense, but you've never really heard anybody mention whether or not they do. That'd be scary!{if Weapon == 1} Good job you got the batons as well then, huh?{endif}

Lexi notices the looks on Delilah's face, takes a second, and then seems to realise what's going on and with a slow nod begins her explanation. "Sorry, that was probably confusing."

......That's it. That's the end of her explanation. By now you've been pretty close for a while, and you're about to pipe up to ask for clarification, but Lexi just turns on her heel with that same smile and walks off as she hums to herself.

Delilah turns to you and you flinch a little, but she doesn't seem to mind that you're near her this time. Instead, she just raises a hand and thumbs over in Lexi's direction with one eyebrow raised. You shrug. Delilah shrugs back. And just like that, the ceasefire is ended and the two of you part ways again.

Well, that little confrontation seems to have been sorted out, then. At least, you're fairly sure.
