She wondered what happened to her smoothie as she took another sip of it, trying to savor the taste as much as possible. Darren heard his mother screaming his name as he hurriedly put on his clothes and rushed to his mother’s location. He didn’t have time to wipe off his semen as he approached his mother. His mother was still in the same spot as she looked at him in disappointment.

“Darren, I thought I told you that I wanted you to cook the chicken alfredo tonight. However, you haven’t started any of the prep work yet. I’m not getting any younger. Go start dinner, now. Also, go make me a glass of lemonade too.”

Darren’s eye twitched listening to his mother and nodded in response. He made his way to the kitchen furious at his mother for forcing him to make dinner right now. It wasn’t that late, and it hadn’t been long since he got home. If she wanted dinner done that badly, then she should’ve done it herself. He couldn’t even the last time she did so. If he didn’t make dinner for some reason, then she usually ordered out. Darren grabbed a cup and wiped the remaining semen on his hand onto the rim of the glass. Some globs of it fell inside, but it wasn’t much. He poured the lemonade in and stirred the contents to make sure that she wouldn’t notice the semen as she brought the glass to his mother. Hopefully, this would make her a bit nicer to him.

He watched as she took a sip of the glass and looked toward him. She smiled for a second before turning back on her stern expression.

“Darren, please don’t make me say it again.”

Darren sighed seeing no other changes, “Alright mom, don’t push yourself too hard.”

“I won’t,” said Lisa as she went back to work.

Darren went back to the kitchen and continued to make dinner. After a bit of time, Darren finished dinner and served the Chicken Alfredo to his mother. His mother took a break from working to eat dinner. They ate in silence for a bit as Darren scanned her body, but nothing seemed out of the ordinary.

Lisa asked, “Darren, how’s school?”

“It’s good, can’t complain,” said Darren thinking about how strange and exciting his last two days of school were.

“How are your grades?”

“Great as always. Absolutely nothing to worry about on that front” responded Darren almost automatically. She always asked about his grades despite knowing that he never brought anything home under a B.

“Did you get a girlfriend?”

Darren almost dropped his fork since his mother never asked that question.

“Why would you ask something like that?”

Lisa took a bite of her alfredo before answering, “You seem to be in an unusually good mood. It must be because of a woman. There isn’t anything else that could make you smile like that.”

Darren was shocked, “Is that what you think of me? I like other things, you know.”

“Oh, like what?” replied Lisa sarcastically.

“I like playing strategy games and reading graphic novels,” said Darren in exasperation.

“Maybe, but you don’t have the same perverted, satisfied smirk when thinking about those things,” said Lisa like it was a completely normal thing to say.

Darren sighed, “We never defined our relationship, but I’m assuming we are.”

“That’s good. Now you can stop perving on your sister every time she comes home. Just because she’s drunk, doesn’t give you the right to ogle her.”

Darren thought that he wouldn’t think about it if she didn’t come home drunk in the first place.

Darren's eyes widened, “I don’t do that. Why would you think that?”

“A mother knows her child. I must admit, you're very good at concealing your gaze. I’ve never caught you looking at me like that though, but I have a feeling that you did,” said Lisa as she stared him down.

Darren quickly finished up his meal, “You must be mistaken, I would never do that. I’m off to go do some schoolwork.”

Darren quickly made his way out of the room as his mother’s eyes narrowed.
