As Leonard shot off like an uncontrolled rocket, Erica gasped “LENNY!” and displayed a pointed lack of honorifics. Which was fairly notable, considering she and everyone else should still have their brains wired to speak proper Japanese.

But that’s getting just a bit off topic. Aside from Lenny’s transformation/trapping, the other four of his party had successfully used their compatible larger Raise Buckles to transform (though Erica got to use two big ones). That meant Erica with Beat and Zombie, Angie with Ninja, Rena with Magnum, and Mara with Monster.

Ace wasn’t idle either though, equipping his Armed Water Buckle to his belt as he chuckled “He’s an ‘interesting’ one.” before readying his transformation pose. With a snap of his fingers, he simply said “Henshin.” and turned the water spigot. In seconds, he was Kamen Rider Geats.

Even with the simple strap and shoulder pad that the Armed Water gave him, the white fox helmet on his head was like a beacon of power that filled his four opponents with dread. A scarf blew behind him from his neck, almost a signifier that in this conflict he was the indisputable main character.

He only had a water gun in his hand, but still Geats had an undeniable aura of power and lethality. As untouchable as a god in a mural.

None of them wanted to be the first one to move, like some kind of fear gripped their hearts. But nonetheless the transformed Rena (A.K.A. Kamen Rider Cube) readied her weapon. The Magnum buckle gave her a white gun, and with it she aimed a shot at her her similarly fox-masked foe’s head.

Geats wasn’t bothered though, jerking his head to the side just at the last second to dodge her bullet. “I’m very familiar with my own compatible buckle, thank you.” he smirked, before dashing towards Cube while moving in an irregular serpentine pattern. His speed wasn’t constant either, speeding up or slowing down as Cube made shot after shot and missed each one.

Throughout his approach he fired with his own weapon, a rifle that shot blasts of ineffectual water. His erratic movements seemed to be a detriment to his own shots though, as his water spurts always seemed to land wide of Cube herself.

This changed as he got close, as a particularly strong stream of water hit Cube dead-on in her eyes, jostling her due to the shock of her vision getting interrupted. Taking an opportunity, Geats quickly changed his weapon’s grip, holding his water rifle by the barrel with both hands as he wielded it like a club.

A devastating impact was awaiting her, but even without her sight Cube reacted swiftly. Hitting a switch on her belt, she flipped her belt around before clipping on an Armed Claws buckle and activating it.

A Revolve On started, making Cube’s form turn and shift, spinning on an axis marked by her waist’s belt, her upper and lower half switching as the claw weapon equipped itself onto her new upper half. And since she’d started the turn partway through Geats’ strike, his attack was effectively dodged right as Cube herself was in a position to make her own attack.

The yellow fox made slash after slash at her white fox foe, the advantage she had in close range apparent. Cube had a claw on each hand while Geats had a single water rifle brandished like a bat, so she could easily block and attack at the same time.

Nonetheless, he kept up well in the physical scramble that occurred, bobbing and weaving when he could. “You’re pretty good! As a fellow ‘fox’, I have to express my approval! Though, not anywhere close to my level.” Geats laughed as he knocked aside one slash while moving himself out of the way of another that came soon after.

“Good thing I’m not alone.” Cube retorted, before out from behind Geats came the transformed Mara (A.K.A. Kamen Rider U-4), her fist crackling with a blue energy as she let loose a finisher that used the gauntlets her Monster Buckle afforded her.

But with a chuckle, the white fox ducked and rolled to the side, leaving Cube to take the hit that was meant for him instead. In the moments before the strike impacted, Cube tried to move and run out of the way. But as she stepped she noticed that the ground around her was a watery mud, meaning her dash had no purchase and she was still going to take the hit.

“So he didn’t miss earlier. Damnit, he’s good…” Cube had to admit internally as U-4’s glowing fist impacted her torso. As she was knocked back into a nearby tree, her transformation came undone and she was Rena once more (albeit with a couple new bruises).

The Raise Buckle on her belt detached itself and flew through the air while she was airborne, and who should catch it but Geats. “Sorry, but white isn’t exactly your color.” he quipped, before swapping the Armed Water Buckle on his belt for the Magnum Buckle he’d just picked up.

The white armor immediately looked at home on his form, and both U-4 and the transformed Angie (A.K.A. Kamen Rider Shiten) gulped in apprehension at the clear challenge awaiting them.
