Chapter 4 by TammyBright TammyBright

What does she do?

Decides to pay her husband a visit.

Tammy is furious and she wants answers. She quickly slips on a T-Shirt and some jeans and makes her way downstairs not bothering to stop to have any breakfast, scooping her car keys off the kitchen table and racing to the front door. She doesn't want to think the worse but it's the only idea going through her mind right now.

How could he not have told her he lost his job, why keep this a secret, where was the money he was earning coming from? Then what if he was cheating, how would she react, what if the woman was someone they both knew. Tammy slammed the front door shut making her way down the garden path to the Red Ford KA her husband had brought, although she now wondered how he could have afforded it.

She sat in the drives seat took a few deep breaths not wanting to drive angrily and cause an accident, the only person she wanted to hurt right now was Scott. She made her way out through the town, thankfully the roads were still fairly quiet and she made good time on her trip to Newmound Drive. As she pulled in she noticed her husband's car was parked outside of number four. She pulled up behind it and looked up at the house. It was set back from the rest of the houses on the street, an old Victorian style building, clearly whoever lived here had money.

She composed herself and made her through the gate and down the path towards the front door. Her mind was still racing with questions but she did her best to hold them in check as she got to the door and rang the bell. She waited and she could hear footsteps coming from down the stairs, the door opened and she was greeted by a short black haired Asian lady who had a silk dressing gown wrapped around her.

"Hello can I help you with something?"

How does Tammy respond.
