Days Later

Kara Zor-El flew across the city of Metropolis, keeping her super ears open for trouble. She listened in for cries for help, alarms, or villains monologuing to themselves about their evil plans (something that happened far more often than one would expect). However, all Supergirl heard were the everyday chitchatting of Metropoleans.

"What a lovely day."

"Alright, class, open your books to page 69. Hey I see you snickering back there Jeremy."

"You finished with that paper I want to read the funnies."

"Should I buy peas or potatoes for tonight's dinner"

"Dude I'm telling you I saw a streaker last week."

Supergirl jerked suddenly losing her equalibrum and almost hitting a building. Fortunately she quickly straighten up and continued flying forward. She tried to move on and keep searching for trouble but her brain couldn't help but dail into that last conversation.

"Not only that but the streaker was a chick! A smoking hot chick at that."

"Your kidding me! Damn you've got some luck. How hot was she?"

"Dude you don't understand. She was trying to cover herself with a trash lid for some reason but I could see enough of her body to tell. Her hips, her ass, her silky smooth skin and golden hair! It was probably the most gorgeous body I've ever seen. Those sights are in my brain forever. I'm just sorry I cant share them with you."

"Kara grunted in frustration. She had tried to be careful during her run back to her apartment after finding herself naked and powerless in the museum. Kara would have preferred to just wait in the alley for her powers to come back but with the police searching the area she surely would have been caught. So she grabbed the biggest thing she could find to cover herself and snuck her way through the streets on Metropolis on an arduous 5 hour streak. It was an overall unpleasant experience for the Kryptonian.

"Well nothing can be done about it now," Kara pouted. What's done was done. Still she was a little upset about somehow losing her costume. She asked Kal-X to make her a new solar cell suit but it woild take some time so until it was ready Kara was rocking one of her old suits. This one was an all blue one piece that covered her whole body below her neck except for her hands. After winding up naked being more covered then usual was conforting.

Kara continued to fly through the city hoping to find some trouble to get her mind off jer troubles. Shortly thereafter her prayers where answered. Supergirl picked up the sound of a silent alarm going off. Another robbery. Kara was hop8ng for something bigger, but beggers can't be chosers. Faster then a speedijg bullet Kara flew to the source of the alarm. A jewelry store on the other side of town. It's front was shuttered closed with a sign in front saying the store would reopen next week.

Using her X-Ray vision Kara serveyed the inside of the store. Inside she saw a hole cut into the ceiling, a rope laid out on the floor, all the jewelry cabinets empties and a smashed in sidedoor. It didn’t take a superbrain to figure this one out. Some thief had come up with a way into the store but not a way out so they had to improvise. And that was going to cost them.

Supergirl flew down the alley and quickly caught up to the foolish Robber. They had climbed up a fire escape and was now jumping across buildings with a dufflebag full of many. Kara rolled her eyes. He clearly had no plan on where he was going. If she left him alone he would likely be caught without her intervention. Still she wanted some action and here it was. Supergirl ascended high into the air before dramatically crashing down infront of the thief. Suprised they screamed in pure terror and fell backwards on their ass. Kara smiled.

"Stop right their evildoer," Supergirl jested with folded arms. "You've been bested by the Woman of Tomorro-....Wait! What are you doing here!"
