Day at the office pt 2

I wasn't sure what I wanted to do although one thing is certain I needed to check up on the Angelus sooner rather than later as I doubt that she will let me place another collar on her to keep her in line.

What surprised me was the fact that neither Marley nor Lisa had tried to contact me I know that they have lives of their own but still I was a little disappointed that they haven't reached out yet.

I wanted to smile when I saw Jennifer and Hippolyta enter the office but from the serious looks on their faces I knew that it was best to just hear what they had to say first.

Jennifer: It would seem that we need to go over your financials as an assessment by the tax office seemed to crop up out of nowhere

Emma: Can we determine what caused this issue?

Hippolyta: I suspected that something didn't seem right so I had seven of nine do some digging into this and what we found was a Nicholas Fury had pulled a couple of favors to have someone start going through your finances and trying to create problems with your bank

Antonio: So what are our options?

Hippolyta: We could hand over the Angelus to make Fury call off this witch hunt

Antonio: Never going to happen what else do you got?

Jennifer: We could take this to court and battle it out there but it is unlikely to solve it anytime soon and Fury might pull some more tricks in other areas in the meantime

Antonio: I'm going to pass on that for now any other options?

Hippolyta: Fight fire with fire we use the information that we managed to uncover and threaten to expose it if this attack is continued

Antonio: I don't think releasing the fact that the government is attacking us is enough to get their attention

Hippolyta: And I never said that was all seven of nine discovered while looking through various documents we found a lot of deep state documents mostly on accident I'll admit but all of it was very condemning and could get alot of people arrested and Fury seems deeply involved in at least a third of what we've found

Antonio: That could work...

Emma: And it seems to be our best option let me handle this I dealt with Fury before and these kinds of things are similar to how we did things in the Hellfire club

Antonio: Fine you can take lead on this but don't try to handle this alone and make Fury regret targeting us
