Chapter 26 by krystalumpire

How does the rest of the week play out?

Day 7 - The house plays politics while you go fishing

It's Day 7 (Tuesday) in the Big Brother house. The first live eviction is happening in just two days, but that's not what's on your mind as you wake up. As usual, Daisy Mae is early to rise, and she gives you a quick peck on the cheek before getting out of bed to start the day. As you watch Daisy Mae's cute little butt wiggle on her way out the door, you remember that faint moaning you heard late last night. In the dark, you couldn't tell who it came from, but you have a hunch, and your instincts about women are usually correct.

Early in the morning, Julian is putting in work to get Derek out. After taking a swing at such a big target, the last thing Julian wants is for the former college football player to stay in the house and seek revenge against him.

JULIAN (Diary Room) - "I'm trying to secure the votes to send Derek out the door on Thursday. I know that my main man Liam is going to vote the way I want, so that's one down. The next person I talked to was Alina. Whenever she's around, Eugene's never far behind. There's no doubt in my mind she'll want Eugene to stay, so that's two votes locked down. Five more and we're golden."

As Julian works on the outsiders, Liam does his best to push their shared agenda on the members of his newfound alliance.

LIAM (Diary Room) - "It's important for my personal game that Derek go this week in order to protect Julian. This nine-person alliance that Roxy pulled me into has the majority of votes this week, so I need to get them on my side for this plan to go through. I talked to Ellie since I knew that she'd been hanging out with Eugene the past couple of days, and I think she's on board."

ELLIE (Diary Room) - "I'd definitely prefer for Eugene to stay this week over Derek. I don't really have any established relationship with Derek, and it sounds like Liam is thinking along the same lines. Hopefully, we can get the rest of the alliance to do the same."

Derek, meanwhile, is trying to raise a rebellion. With his neck now on the line, he's doing everything he can to leverage the relationships he's built and push votes onto Eugene. Derek takes every person in the house who's voting this week aside for a one-on-one conversation and gives them his pitch. Some of the houseguests are receptive, but others not so much.

DEREK (Diary Room) - "Julian obviously wants me to go home this week, otherwise he wouldn't have broken our deal. I know that I'm a big presence in the house, and people can view that as a threat. My idea is to try and sell that to people as an asset to their games. I'll tell them 'If you vote for me to stay this week then, together, we have a better shot at winning HOH and sending Julian out'. It's hard for me to say how well people are taking it, but it's the best argument I have. I'm not going down without a fight."

MARCUS (Diary Room) - "If I had it my way, I'd want Derek to stay this week. Him and I are cut from the same cloth, and we could go far in this game together. Chirag and Danielle seem to be leaning that way, too, so there's definitely a chance we can make it happen."

ETHAN (Diary Room) - "Derek came to me today trying to convince me to keep him this week, but there's no way I'm doing that. We've been sharing a room together since the first night, and yet he's barely even talked to me. The guy always has to be Mr. Serious. At least Eugene laughs at my jokes! I also wanna get rid of him just because he snores a lot. I wouldn't be surprised if the Have-Nots have been getting better sleep than me this past week. It's that bad!"

Throughout the day, Roxy and Isabel are hard at work coordinating plans within their new alliance. It's difficult to get a group of nine people together in one room without drawing suspicion, so they're instead moving between different small groups to try and come to a consensus. However, it's quickly becoming clear that opinions within the group are divided.

ROXY (Diary Room) - "The purpose of forming the alliance in the first place was to protect us from Julian. If he nominated a member of the alliance next to Eugene, the rest of us would stick together and keep that person safe. However, Derek being on the block changes things. Now, we don't have a clear target, and we need to come to a decision about who we want to evict."

ISABEL (Diary Room) - "When it comes to this vote, our alliance is not all on the same page. Danielle, Chirag and Marcus want to keep Derek in the house since they have a tight bond with him. On the other side, Liam and Ellie both want to keep Eugene. That leaves myself, Roxy, Daisy Mae and John in the middle. We need to figure out how to resolve this, otherwise this alliance might not last very long."

It's a long, intense day of strategizing, and you're exhausted by the end of it. From what you've gathered, it's still unclear what decision will be made. As the house winds down for the night, though, you have some investigating of your own to do. You tell Daisy Mae that you're going to bed early, but that she can join you whenever she's ready. When you go in the back bedroom, Ellie is also there, but you convince her to leave you alone by saying you're not feeling well and asking if you can turn in early. After Ellie leaves, you put your plan into action. Each night you've spent in Daisy Mae's bed thus far, you've worn an undershirt and loose boxer shorts: a comfortable night outfit that maintains a respectful level of modesty. Tonight, that changes. You're going to bait the hook and see which of these girls will bite.

With the room to yourself, you strip down to your new sleeping outfit. Tonight, you're wearing a tight singlet and a pair of smaller, tighter boxers. It's not a dramatic change, but this new outfit shows off your body far more than anything you've worn in the house up to this point. You also didn't reapply your deodorant after showering like you have been so that your natural scent can seep into the room overnight. You know from experience that these two things combined should turn up the heat with girls who are already interested without scaring off the skittish ones. You leave the lights on, crawl into Daisy Mae's bed and throw the sheets over you, intentionally leaving your shoulders and lower body exposed. You then close your eyes and pretend to fall asleep.

Some time later, you hear the door open and the sound of a woman humming. You listen as the unknown figure walks over to where you know Alina's bed sits and starts rummaging through the dresser. As the figure comes back towards you, you hear the footsteps and the humming stop all of a sudden. You can practically feel this person's stare roaming your body as they're stood perfectly still. You can hear her breathing become slightly deeper as she takes your "sleeping" form in. After a short while, the figure leaves the room, her pace a bit quicker than before. As she goes, you open your eyes just enough to see a flash of long, silky black hair before the door closes. Hook, line and sinker.

It isn't long before the exhaustion of the day catches up with you and you legitimately fall asleep. Even Daisy Mae crawling under the covers with you later that night barely stirs you. Tomorrow will certainly be interesting.

What happens the day before the eviction?
