Day 2

The sun was coming up the next day as the two nude contestants were still asleep. The fire was still going but their charms had worn off in the middle of the night.

It was the sound of Harrys stomach that woke them up.

"Hmm." Hermione groaned at the sound. The ground was not comfortable and they couldn't use any cushioning charms here so she had to think about a way to form some sort of bed.

"Sorry." Harry sighed. "I'm hungry."

"I can tell." She then noticed the chill all over her. "The charms wore off!"

Quickly they got up and recast them. It didn't really feel any different but it kept them from losing body parts to frostbite.

"So whats the plan for today?" Harry asked as he grabbed some snow outside and ate it for water.

"We need fresh water because that is not good for you. If we find water then our chances of finding food to hunt will go up too because all animals need water."

"Okay."

"After we have those we can focus on making this place more liveable. A door out of wood for example and getting some branches to make a bed because that ground is bloody uncomfortable."

"You mostly slept on me." He teased.

She blushed slightly. "You're far more comfortable." She leaned stood at the cave entrance.

Together the pair stepped out into the tundra aftet stoking the fire.

"Yeah Still bloody cold!" Harry groaned. Even with the sun it was way below freezing here.

"Lets climb up high to see if we can get lucky on a water source." Hermione suggested as her teeth chattered slightly.

Harry had to shake his head as he watch Hermione bare ass move through the snow. 'You're a bloody fool Potter. Bringing her out here. Bloody show and Ginny for bringing it up. Still at least the view is good.'

On top of a small hill they did a survey of the area. Hermione had made a mental map of their home cave and any surrounding landmarks incase they were separated.

"Hey is that a river?" Harry pointed to the west.

Sure enough a ways away looked like a river.

"I hope so." Hermione did a calculation. It looked to be about half a mile from them give or take. "Come on." She took his hand.

She did let out a small giggle at the sight. The two of them naked as the day they were born tracking through the snow hand in hand.

It was quite the walk on bare feet but they finally found the river.

"Its not as close as I want but it will do." Hermione looked it over.

Harry used his hand to cup some water and drank. "Taste fresh."

"Good. Now we need to focus on food. There should be some berries that do grow here in winter and some other plants that can be edible too, but meat and fur would be a boost."
