Day 2 – Neil and his Sex Cult

I figured it was in my best interest to avoid those wackos currently residing in my shelter. I had checked the control room to see if anyone else was coming. It was clear. Currently, the city was being overtaken by zombie hordes. Whoever is still alive by now would have found shelter. Last night I showed Neil and his followers their rooms, they didn’t thank me for the rooms but thank the Way and God and of course Neil, the father. The women still avoided eye contact with me, their faces faced firmly towards the ground whenever they were near me. When I tried to talk to them, Neil would smile over them and watch them not say anything back to me.

There were three followers. They were young, attractive girls in their 20-30s. One looked like to be the head girl and had shoulder length blonde hair, she looked older than the others and more in control. The other was a young brunette with medium sized breasts and an erect carriage, and a young pale small-breasted red-haired girl seemed more submissive to the older one who had short blonde hair.

Neil hadn’t drunk any of the water, though the women did. Neil had one of his followers carry a bag full of Fiji, which only he had drunk from. That would be an issue, I thought.

I had spied on them at night, Neil had taken them all in their rooms. They were all naked bowing before them. The red-haired girl looked like she was about to cry as Neil and the blonde woman comforted her. The red-hair girl left the room later in tears. The brunette and blonde woman both had brands on them and began to service Neil. I turned it off when I saw the brunette lie on top Neil’s lap while the blond one positioned herself over Neil’s face.

The morning came, and I prepared breakfast for the group. They all came in. Neil with that smug, arrogant face and his three female followers behind him. They sat in a far table and talked among themselves while Neil approached me.

Neil helped himself to my fridge and my pantry.

“Had a good night?” I asked him.

“Every night is a good night when you are of the Way,” Neil said.

I snickered. Neil ignored this and went over to the dish I had next to the kitchen where I was making pancakes and bacon and had some already cut fruit available. Neil had empty plates and helped himself to some of it, piling the pancakes and bacon on a huge plate on top of empty plates. He reached inside my drawers for forks and knives.

Neil left ceremoniously and went to the table where the females sat and placed a dish for each one. He portioned out the bacon and pancakes, and they all looked at him gratefully saying, “Thank you, Father.”

I rolled my eyes and finished up cooking my pancakes and bacon.

I brought out real maple syrup, salt shakers and a plate of butter. I placed the maple syrup and butter and salt on their table. I caught a glance at the red-haired girl, and she and I made eye contact, and she quickly diverted her eyes in embarrassment. Neil didn’t notice this and I went to the other end of the dining hall and ate by myself.

Neil came over and placed his empty used dishes on my table.

“Brother Adam,” Neil said with a smile and sat down next to me.

“Neil,” I said.

Neil came up right to me and invaded my personal space, sitting beside me close.

“Adam, I noticed you locked some of the rooms. Why is that?” Neil asked with a calm demeanor and smile.

“There are some very important life-preserving rooms that I’d rather not have strangers wander into and mess around.”

“Adam Adam Adam… we are all a family here,” Neil said in a soft hypnotizing voice. “Locks and doors just prevent us from reaching inside of yourselves. What are you really locking up?”

I blinked and thought about it.

“Well if you want to know. Guns, food, medicine, supplies, water systems, some of the power generators and air vents.” I said.

“No, I mean really locking up.” He asked me kindly and pointed to my chest.

“Gas? Indigestion?” I said.

“Oh my child Adam. You are so lost. I can see it in you. When you really want to talk, we will talk.” Neil said and walked away.

It’s strange to me that a man nearly half my size would call me a child, despite his greying hair. I finally rolled my eyes and put away the dishes he left for me.
