Day 2: Sticking to your guns

When you come in the next day, Ruffus mentions that you haven't worn the proper dress code. You begin to argue with him but end up with a disciplinary citation. He explains that it is horrendous performance to get a citation at your first week on the job. Ruffus tells you if you don't show up tomorrow in the right attire there will be serious repercussions. He also says Santa will be arriving later that week and likes to have a one on one with the new hires. You’re shocked at the news. You’ll actually get a chance to speak with Santa. You’ve only seen him from a distance at parades and other special occasions.

Ruffus: "I suggest you shape up otherwise you might not make it to the meeting."

You: "Yes Mr. Ruffus, I didn't think it was that big of a deal."

Ruffus: "Hmph! We can discuss this further after work, now if you'll excuse me."

You: "See you then, Mr. Ruffus,” you say sullenly.
