Day 1.5-Day 2 – Streaming Addiction Pt 1.

The dorms filled up with people. I had shown them to their rooms. There was plenty of space, and they had gotten settled in. Most however were sitting in front of the TV in the lounge. They seemed a quiet type that liked personal space. "Erinity" and "SinSinKitty", or I’ll just say Kitty, had gone to their rooms and did what they did the best - stream. Yes even amid all this destruction and world ending the chaos, they wanted to stream. The manager tried to give me money for the board and food, but I wouldn’t have it. What good will the money be anyways?

I was going to prepare some food for the group when Erinity and SinSinKitty came up to me. Erinity had been a somewhat short brunette with South American or Latino features. She had dyed blonde highlights over her dyed light brown hair. Kitty had raven black hair and blue eyes though she had worn a fake blonde wig for her Spider-Gwen cosplay initially.

“Adam the connection here sucks, can you fix it? Also, do you have a better cam and mic?” Erinity spoke up.

I probably did in storage but replied, “No, I already provided you with a laptop and the connection sucks because I have approximately 15 people here all checking their phones and laptops, so you have to be a bit more patient.”

“Dude, I need to stream,” Kitty said. “My viewers are complaining about the lag.”

Viewers? Why the fuck were people watching Twitch streams while the world was ending.

“Sorry ladies but it is what is it. You are welcomed to go drive home and use your own internet and setups there.”

They glared at me, and I sighed and went on my way.

The next day had been the same. More people on my couch and eating my food. I had some light conversation with the guys there. For whatever reason, they had seemed like one blob of people that moved together, talk the same and did the same things. I pulled out the video game consoles from storage, and they entertained themselves on the lounge. The manager, Pete, was constantly checking his phone and pacing back and forth. Erinity and Kitty were both streaming which was strange and weird to me and not only that, but a few of the guys were in the room, watching on their laptops of them streaming while they were in the same place.

While I watched them, I had an idea. I spent the afternoon doing chores, making lunch and dinner and then working on my plan. I had created spoof websites through my intranet network that would redirect sites like Twitch and Paypal to fake websites that I had created that all the members of my internet network would access when they tried to go to the real websites.

The next day I would put the finishing touches and put my plan into motion.
