Dawn

He spotted Dawn, who was casually relaxing at a nearby park by the lake. Dawn was one of his faithful companions throughout his time in the Sinnoh Region.

“Hey, Dawn!” Ash called out.

“Ash!” Dawn cried, as she went to hug him. “So good to see you!”

“Same to you!” Replied Ash, as he hugged her back.

“So, what have you been up to?” He asked her, secretly holding the remote on his pocket, ready to use it at the right moment.

“Well,” Dawn started, “I've been doing some training with my Pokémon, trying to get them ready for the next contest. I've also been thinking about entering the Grand Festival, but I'm not sure if I'm ready yet.” She looked at Ash with a hint of uncertainty in her eyes, seeking his opinion.

Ash smiled and nodded encouragingly, his hand instinctively tightening around the remote in his pocket, before aiming it at her without her noticing.
