Apparently he's being tasked to patrol the nearby sea zone, which had seen signs of Siren activity as of the last few months, though no true confirmation can be made as to why they're there.

"I do hope you can help solve the reason as to why the Sirens are operating there. This is quite troublesome as there hasn't been any solid answer as to why they're operating there right now, correct?" Sirius asked Ward.

"Regardless, I'm sure both the Royal Navy and her allies will get to the bottom of this, as we always have." You reassured both of them. "Our ability to project power and the tenacity to defend any and all of our allies will always be our greatest strengths."
