In most stories Dawn if the aid of Professor Rowan, serving as both ally to the protagonist and friend. In this timeline though, before her adventure as a pokemon trainer could truly begin, She visited Lake Verity. There she was visited by the legendary pokemon Mespirit. Amused by her notes, Mespirit found Dawn an interesting being and bestowed a fraction of her power onto her. Now Dawn has the power to manipulate the emotions of others around her. A trick she learned how to control quite quickly. Now as her adventure is set to begin, she can now not only travel with her own partner pokemon, but also those she's made into her lesbian loves.
