David vs Iskierka (Pregnant)

"Ladies, Gentlemen and those in-between, for our next fight We have David Second Son of Lord John Small versus Lady Iskierka of the Red Clutch." Bombed the announcer. As the combatants walked onto the field the sky darkened as dark clouds rolled in. You are glad the royal box has a roof.

David, being the second son of a lesser Lord, is less well equipt than Remus. You were going to pit him against another of the Clutch Leaders as he was of noble birth but due to his lack of equipment, you decided to change the order up a bit. David wore mainly plain clothes with leather arm braces, shin guards and a leather chest plate. He did, however, have a metal shield and a single handed axe.

Iskierka was even less armoured and carried no weapons. Her gold and purple dress had been switched for simple chain mail but she still wore all her golden jewellery including three gold necklaces one of which had the flaming A symbol in a shield. She did, however, have her sharp claws and you remember something about being able to breathe fire!

It did not take long for Iskierka to reveal this trick but she had more skill with her fire magic than Bryce or David expected. she breathed fire out her mouth forming a fire ball in her hand and threw it at David. She did this repeatedly. The first, he dodged. Second, he deflected whit his shield. The third hit his shoulder setting fire to the cloth.

David rolled in the dirt of the battleground to dodge the next fire ball and extinguish the fire at the same time. This also closed the gap between them. He struck on with the flat side of his axe on his uproll striking a fireball out of her hand and snapping the tips of her right claws off.

Iskierka let out a scream in pain. "AAAARAR!" Then she unleashed her fire breath full blast onto the shield of David. She had been aiming for his chest but he had blocked it again. The intense heat spread through the metal of the shield as David braced himself from the blast by lowering down to one knee. Eventually, the shield became hot and David had to let go.

He kicked up sending soil into Iskierka's eyes allowing him to drop the shield and retreat. Defeat seemed imminent now that David had lost his shield, but as he was about to surrender the heavens opened. The rain came pouring down, Steam hissed off the shield as it lay in the dirt that was quickly turning to mud. This soothed the burns on his right shoulder where the fire ball had hit.

David felt renewed with energy as Iskierka hissed and mumbled at the rain; no more fire from her. With one clawed hand blunted she was basically fighting David left handed and disarmed. Not wanting to get physical and risk the baby she was carrying she announced: "I conceded, David Wins."

To David, Iskierka says "The fight is yours and so am I if you want me." Replies Iskierka.

David wins the title David of the Rain first of the Rain family and a place in the next rounds to determine how much land he is gifted.

The crowd is less disappointed at the fact she conceded and more happy they could get out of the rain. Does the rain continue for the next match, is the next match today or tomorrow? What does David do with Iskierka?
