David does some research

TUESDAY

That morning David raced downstairs, swallowing his milk and cereal in one quick gulp.

"David, that's disgusting." His mother reprimanded, as she fixed herself coffee. She was the town realtor and in addition to being too busy with work to spend much time with him, she was obsessed with not only her own image, but his. She refused to let him dress the way he wanted and made known her criticisms of his friends, often to their faces.

David ignored her angry look and just wiped his face with his hand. She huffed and moved into the next room, grumbling loud enough, to be sure he could hear her complaining. David didn't mind as much as he usually did. Why should he? He had a gorgeous thirty-eight year old woman at his beck and call. There was work to be done as well. A husband to be rid of and more importantly, some place to keep his new pet, after graduation.

Still, all of these hypotheticals failed to diminish the rush he got from thinking about today's class. It was an unusual feeling, being this excited for Mrs. Browning's class. Of course, he always enjoyed watching her parade around, pretending that she was intelligent and capable of making good points. It would be even more fun, watching her do so, in increasingly slutty outfits, while she got increasingly aroused. But it would be even more fun, knowing that after classes, she would be his again.

He grabbed a piece of fruit and decided to jog to school. He wanted to get a head-start on the day. And it was certainly better than sitting around waiting for the bus and listening to his frigid mother.

The morning jog cleared his head a bit. The first thing to do was to find out more about this book of hypnosis he had found. Had anyone else used it? What were the limitations? It was better to find out now, before he'd taken things too far, than to be caught with his pants down later.

Math class was in the afternoon, so he decided to take his recess at the school library. Although David had always spent more time thinking about girls than his lessons, he was one of the more intelligent students at the school. He just didn't flaunt it by joining chess club or wanting to become a teacher's aide. This was one of the reasons why he didn't visit the school library often.

The other reason was named Edna Harper. Edna was the school librarian and renowned killjoy. She was actually younger than Mrs. Browning, but she did her best to act and dress like the stodgy old woman associated with such establishments. The woman clearly suffered from control issues and made the process of checking out a book, rather obnoxious, because of how big of a snob she was. She also had been known to draw up her nose if she discovered anyone breathing too loudly, within her "domain".

Afraid that asking her for the section on hypnosis might either provoke a bout of mocking laughter or give away his intentions, he avoided the front desk and instead tried to use his (somewhat limited) knowledge of the Dewey Decimal system instead. After a quick Google of said system, he deduced that hypnosis would be in the "psychology" section and began combing through what was available for anything on hypnosis.

Finding a dead end, he instead located a computer and used one of the Academic Databases available, to try to find more obscure texts. He had just stumbled upon an interesting article, which might be relevant when he heard a light cough behind him.

He looked up to see the dreaded librarian herself, Edna Harper, standing right behind him, holding a small stack of books and glowering through her spectacles, with all her might.

"Can I help you?" He asked.

Seemingly displeased he'd even talked, Miss Harper wrinkled her nose. "The library is here for students to do serious research, David. Not look at pictures of female exhibitionists."

David blushed and glanced around. There were only a couple of other students within the confines of the library, but they had amused looks on their faces.

"That was one time..." David said, without looking at her. Internally, he cursed the security restrictions on the WIFI at home. If his mother wasn't such a prude, he wouldn't have had to look at Porn on the library computer.

Miss Harper smirked. "Sure, David." She spoke like she was addressing a child. The heat in his face grew.

He pointed at the screen. "Miss Harper, I am doing serious research."

She glanced at the screen and then let out an uncharacteristic laugh. "HA! Hypnosis...are you writing a paper on psudeo-science?"

David fumed in his seat. The other students were beginning to take an interest in the confrontation, if only because they hadn't seen Miss Harper with this much malignant glee in a long time. David took a deep breath.

"Are you done interrupting me?" He asked, deciding to take the high route. There would be plenty of time to get back at this bitch, when he wasn't running out of time.

She rolled her eyes and then turned away, waggling her fingers at him. "Have fun~!"

David watched her go. In a single day, he had made Mrs. Browning his **** in all but name, but he still had to deal with people like his mother, people like Miss Harper, treating him like an oaf and a failure. It occurred to him that just as hypnosis had worked on Mrs. Browning, so might it work on Miss Harper.
