Dared to shoplift

Tasha grinned as she said. “I bet you’re too chicken to shoplift from any one of these stores.”

“That’s stupid,” Becky said. “Why would I do that?”

“You have so many places to hide it,” Tasha said. “I triple dog dare you to do it. Or you’ll prove that I’m superior to you.”

Becky squirmed. She could never back down from a dare, so she figured she would be able to get away with it at Macy’s. The store was huge and there was no way they’d bother trying to stop someone like her. So Becky took a random piece of lingerie, and shoved it into her padded bra where it wouldn’t be noticeable. She adjusted her clothes and headed for the door.

As she approached the door, there was security waiting. “Excuse me, but an associate of this store believes that you’ve shoplifted. We need to search your person for any stolen items,” the security guard said.
