Dancing with the devil

"Six weeks?!”

"No! You cannot be seriously making me work for six weeks! Are you going to pay me at least? And even if you are I'm not doing any of that!" I stomp my feet.

"That outfit you gave me makes me look like a stripper and I am not comfortable with that! This is all so very demeaning."

“Why would I pay you? You practically stole money from my casino with your constant cheating. This is about you paying me back with your time, work and dignity. Now let’s return to my casino so you can get started.”

"Dignity, hah"

I look back at the crowd. They are jeering, laughing and clapping as I am paraded back to the casino with Sabrina. Some of them are taking pictures with their phones and they are probably going to show these pictures to all their friends.

"Hey, please stop that!" I tell the crowd. "This is a serious matter and you are just making it worse! The public humiliation is bad enough as it is!"

The longer this goes on the more embarrassing it is. Why am I not just put in jail?

"Come on, lets get this over with."

I walk with Sabrina next to her and enter the casino. I'm immediately hit with the noise of the crowds in the casino. I walk over to the roulette table, my bare feet barely touching the floor from how high my high heels are.

"So what do I do?"

“You see that stripper pole up there,” Sabrina points to a small podium with a metal pole in the middle. “Stand up there and dance. And don’t think about covering up your body either.”

Sabrina sends me on my way with a smack on my bottom. I blush bright red at Sabrina's slap. How dare she treat me like this!

I walk towards the stand and climb up the stage. I grab onto the pole and start awkwardly twirling around it. "Like this?" I ask Sabrina.

I try keeping a stone face but this is humiliating. I've never danced like this in front of a crowd before and I have no idea what the heck I'm doing.
