Dance Competition - Part 1

The next morning, the Goldberg’s and Patrick arrived at the school that was hosting the dance competition. The gym was filling up quickly for the all day event, so Steven, Sherri, Sam, Siri and Patrick told Sasha good luck as she went off with the team and then they made their way to the bleachers so that they could get a good seat. Patrick sat down beside Sam because they were pretty close considering how close they were in age.

“Hey Sammy, how have things been going?” Patrick asked the shy girl with the personal nickname that he had given her.

“Okay, I guess.” Sam said blushing a little bit, which made Patrick smile as he was always making the blonde blush.

“Oh come on. You can give me more than that. I want details.” Patrick said, making Sam giggle a little bit.

“Fine, if you are sure that is what you want.” Sam said, rolling her eyes slightly with a smile still on her face.

Patrick knew how to loosen Sam up from knowing her for so long. He knew that once you got the girl talking, it would be hard to stop her from talking and he was trying to break her out of her shell a little bit at a time.

“Yep, so go ahead and give me some insight into the life of Samantha Goldberg.” Patrick said, making the girl giggle at him again as she looked over at him and gave him a few details.

“Well, I have been pretty busy lately with the cheer/dance team and playing volleyball. Then you have to put in there the fulltime job of keeping your sister out of trouble as well.” Sam said with a smile as both of them laughed at that last statement.

“Oh yeah. That is definitely a fulltime job.” Patrick said back.

“So, what about you?” Sam asked Patrick.

“I have football practice everyday and you know, hanging out with friends and all of that stuff.” Patrick said and Sam nodded.

“I was surprised when Sasha told me that you went out for the football team this year. I didn’t know you had any interest in that.” Sam said as she thought about how hot Patrick looked in his football uniform and she started to blush again and Patrick could help but smile at the girl who wasn’t quite a year younger than him.

“Well, it looks like you and Sue will be the stars on the volleyball team next year, since you will have a lot of the team leaving after this year. Speaking of, why aren’t you on the competition dance team for the school?” Patrick asked, wondering why Sam was on the team dancing with her sister today.

“That’s not for me. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy it, but I just don’t want to do it all the time like Sasha does.” Sam said with a shrug.

“That makes sense. It’s not for everyone I guess.” Patrick said.

“Are you going to try out for the basketball team this year too?” Sam asked Patrick.

“I don’t think so. I am okay at basketball, but I rather spend my time getting ready for soccer season after football season is over, since that is my favorite sport after all.” Patrick said.

“Do you think you might be able to play in college?” Sam asked.

“Maybe at a smaller college if I decide that is what I want to do. Chase is really the only one who could get a free ride to just about anywhere that he wants for soccer.” Patrick said.

“Yeah, he is a great player. What about Chad?” Sam asked.

“If anything, Chad is like me. He could possibly pick up a scholarship from a smaller school.” Patrick said.

“I am looking forward to seeing what they can do against all of these other teams. We normally fare pretty well.” Sam said as she turned to watch the team that was on the floor right now.

“I am guessing that the dance team will have different dances here than what we see at our games.” Patrick said and Sam nodded.

“Yeah, it will be different dances that no one has seen before.” Sam said.

“Nice.” Patrick said.

“So, I am going to go and get some snacks. Do you want anything?” Sam asked as she stood up to go to the concession stand.

“No, I am good. Thanks though.” Patrick said as Sam left him and went to get some food.

Patrick watched the dance team that was on the floor and he had to admit that they were pretty good but he didn’t think that they held a candle to Big Lake’s dance team even with the watered down version that they see at football games. He was so consumed with watching the dance that he didn’t realize that someone else came and sat beside him. When the person finally spoke up he turned to them.

“Hello, Patrick.” Sherri said as she sat down next to him.

“Hey Aunt Sherri. Are you looking forward to seeing Sasha dance?” Patrick asked.

“Yeah, I am. It looked like the two of you had a different dance going last night though.” Sherri said as she winked at Patrick and he had a coughing fit.

“Nothing to be ashamed of. It is a part of life.” Sherri said with a smile.

“Yeah, I guess.” Patrick said.

“So, I saw you talking to Sam. The two of you have always gotten along pretty well. You have always been able to bring her out of her shell. Only Sue seems to do it better.” Sherri said.

“All it really takes to get her going is to get her talking. Once she is talking it is like she lets loose a bit.” Patrick said.

“I wish she would let loose more often.” Sherri said.

“She’ll be fine, plus, we need someone to keep Sue in line.” Patrick said, chuckling.

“Oh yes, your sister is a little hellion.” Sherri said, shaking her head.

“I sometimes wonder if she isn’t Aunt Jenn’s daughter instead of moms.” Patrick said.

“Oh she is almost an exact lookalike to your mom when she was in high school in more ways than one.” Sherri said.

“I have heard things about mom when she was in high school, I just wouldn’t have believed it until recently.” Patrick said.

“Oh, trust me, if you have heard it, it is more than likely true when it comes to your mother.” Sherri said as she chuckled.

“Is it true that she one time stood up in the middle of an assembly and flashed everyone?” Patrick said, and Sherri just laughed.

“I guess you could say yes and no to that question.” Sherri said, still laughing.

“What do you mean?” Patrick asked.

“She did stand up and show her boobs in the middle of an assembly, but she was in the middle of the crowd so only the people that were behind her and the lucky ones in front of her that turned around saw it. So, she did it in front of a crowd, but not the whole crowd saw it.” Sherri said.

“Oh, that makes sense now. I wouldn’t have been able to see her doing that until recently though.” Patrick said.

“She did have that part of her locked down for a long time. She has definitely let loose lately though.” Sherri said.

“Tell me about it. It seems like a few of you have.” Patrick said looking at his honorary aunt.

“Don’t get me wrong. I love Steven with all of my heart, but our sex life lost its spark a long time ago. I know I shouldn’t be doing what I am doing, but it is just so good to have good sex after such a long time.” Sherri said.

“I won’t tell anyone.” Patrick said.

“I know you won’t. That is why I am glad that Sasha is with you, Patrick. You are very trustworthy and will do whatever it takes to protect the people you care about. To tell you the truth, I wouldn’t mind if you took all three of my daughters. That way I would know that they are being taken care of.” Sherri said, giving Patrick a sincere look.

“I don’t think that is a good idea, Aunt Sherri. It could cause friction between the girls.” Patrick said.

“Only between Sasha and Siri. You know how head strong Siri is. She would get pissed if Sasha or Sam took up too much of your time. Sam would just give Siri some of her time. That girl can be such a push over sometimes.” Sherri said.

“She’s not that bad. I’ve seen Sam and Siri fight before.” Patrick said.

“Yes, but that happens very seldomly.” Sherri said.

“True. I still don’t think it would work with me and all three of your daughters though.” Patrick said.

Sherri leaned over to whisper in his ear using her hands to amplify her voice into his ear. “You never know until you try.” Sherri said as she stuck her tongue out and licked his earlobe slowly, which was luckily blocked by her hands.

That sent a shiver down Patrick’s spin. He looked at Sherri who was smirking at him and he just shook his head. “We’ll see what happens.” Patrick said as he stood up and went to the restroom just to get away and get ahold of himself for a few minutes.

As he stood up, Sherri grabbed his hand so that he would turn back and look at her. “Make sure to save me some time tonight when we get home.” Sherri said as she winked at him and Patrick took off walking to the restroom after he gave her a nod.
