Dana makes a sacrifice

Dana can't believe she's about to ruin her friends' plans. Now, most people would realize that, while disappointing, her friends would just find something else to do with their time. But, in Dana's mind, she just ruined their whole day. So, she stops, surprising Lana and Clara. She then does something way more shocking, she turns around, uncovers herself, deliberately this time, and starts walking back to the water park, everything in display.

Clara: "Dana, what are you doing?"

Dana: "I'm going to the waterpark."

Clara: "Why?"

Dana: "Because I want to go there with you two!"

Lana: "Dana! Damnit, stop forgetting to cover yourself!"

Dana: "I didn't forget this time! I did it on purpose."

Clara: "You're not making sense! Why would you do that?"

Dana (in a moment of self-awareness): "Come on, we all know I won't be able to keep remembering so I'd better get used to being seen."

Clara: "But why are you doing all this?"

Dana: "Because I love you both and I'm tired of you guys having to clean up my mistakes."

This was a very odd time for Dana to pick a hill to defend, but her friends were flattered and always supportive. So, they marched back through the admission area, this time Dana was intentionally showing everyone there everything. It was a scathing editorial about the downfall of society and how people who support what they assume is her crusade to spread public nudity are degenerates. But, it became clear to Clara and Lana that Dana only read the headline and completely missed the sarcasm. And they didn't care what some stuffed shirt at a newspaper thought. They only cared that Dana was happy.

Clara: "I'm glad that lots of people see you as a hero and I'll always see you as a hero."

The second part was absolutely true. It's hard to state how impressed Clara was with what Dana was willing to sacrifice to make her friends happy. Even if it was an entirely unnecessary sacrifice. Their friendship strengthened over the years. Clara would like to say that there weren't any other naked mishaps.
