Daisy Mae makes her nominations and everything is perfectly fine, right?

It's now early in the evening, and Daisy Mae will need to make her nominations very soon. You're in the HOH bedroom talking with her. She's been having lots of game talks with the other houseguests throughout the day, so this is the first time you've been able to talk to her alone since last night. You want to check in with her about the events of the past few days and see if you can sway her away from nominating your ally Victoria.

John - "So, it seems like you were getting along well with Isabel and Raquel at the pool party."
DAISY MAE - "Oh, yeah, that was a hoot! I love Raquel. She's so fun to talk to."
John - "What did you talk about?"
DAISY MAE - "Oh, you know, lots of stuff. Izzy told us about her research. Apparently she's studying moth pheromones or something? I tried to follow along but my brain ain't built for that sorta thing."
John - "Did you talk about me at all?"
DAISY MAE - "Nothing gets past you, does it? Yeah, they were asking about us. I just told them how sweet you are, and that you give the best cuddles...You know, I think Izzy has a crush on you."

Well, that came out of nowhere. You figured you'd need to put in more work with Isabel before she started turning, but apparently not.

John - "Now that you mention it, she has been acting a little strangely since you and I got together. How does that make you feel?"
DAISY MAE - " *laughs* Listen, sugar, I grew up with three sisters. I can handle another girl pining for the same boy as me."
John - "So, you two are still on good terms?"
DAISY MAE - "Don't you worry your pretty little head about that. I love Izzy, and we're both smart enough not to let a man come between us. Even if he is a cute one."

Well, that confirms she won't be jealous if the other women start developing feelings for you. You're not sure yet how she'll react if you actively pursue them, but at least you can continue to let things develop naturally and nudge them in the right direction. With that bombshell taken care of, you shift the conversation back to nominations.

John - "So what are you thinking?
DAISY MAE - "I've been going back and forth all day. I don't wanna put Eugene on the block again after he was just on it, but I'm worried about Victoria coming after me if I put her up instead."
John - "Well, it's your decision, but if I were you, I'd think about what you ultimately want to have happen this week. Who do you want to get out of the house?"
DAISY MAE - "Honestly, I'm not sure. The Senate's gonna push for Julian, but I don't wanna break my word with him."
John - "What if the Veto doesn't get used? The nominations stay the same and Julian can't go up."
DAISY MAE - "But we can't control that."
John - "Maybe not, but we can stack the odds in our favor."

You spend more time with Daisy Mae and come up with a game plan. Before long, Daisy Mae gets called to the diary room to make her nominations. You and the rest of the houseguests are asked by the producers to move to the dining room table and wait for Daisy Mae to return. After a few minutes, she re-enters the house holding the nomination block. She places the box with the two keys down on the table and addresses the group.

DAISY MAE - "This is the nomination ceremony. It is my responsibility as the Head of Household to nominate two houseguests for eviction. In my nomination block are the keys of the houseguests that I'm nominating for eviction. I will turn two keys to lock in my nominations and their faces will appear on the Memory Wall. The first houseguest I have nominated is..."

Daisy Mae turns the first key and Alina's face appears behind her. Alina gives a dismissive roll of the eyes.

DAISY MAE - "The second houseguest I have nominated is..."

Daisy Mae turns the second key and Eugene's face appears next to Alina's. Eugene gives a disappointed sigh.

DAISY MAE - "I have nominated you, Alina, and you, Eugene, for eviction. Alina, I think you're beautiful and I'd love to be your friend, but the rude comments you've made about me and some of the other women in the house have made that very difficult. I feel like there's this wall between us, and I haven't gotten the chance to know the real Alina yet. Eugene, I hate to do this to you for a second week in a row, but I have nothing personal against you. This is strictly a game move. I wish you both the best of luck with the Veto competition. This nomination ceremony is adjourned."

Daisy Mae goes to grab the nomination block to bring it back to the diary room. However, before she can pick it up...

ALINA - "F***ing cowardly bitch."
DAISY MAE - "What did you just call me?"
ALINA - "I called you a cowardly f***ing bitch because that's what you are."
DAISY MAE - "What have I done to be called a coward?"
ALINA - "You couldn't tell me I was going on my block to my face? You had to send your little boy toy to do it?"
DAISY MAE - "You haven't come to talk to me all day. When could I have told you?"
ALINA - "I was locked outside in the f***ing pillory, you bitch! You sent your lap dog out there to try and intimidate me when I couldn't fight back. Well, guess what? You're in for a fight now."
DAISY MAE - "John, what in tarnation is she talking about?"

Oh, boy. Here we go.

John - "I was outside with Alina and Julian. Julian went in to get her water bottle and, as soon as he was out of earshot, Alina started questioning me about the nominations."
DAISY MAE - "And what did you tell her?"
John - "I told her the truth, that we'd talked about it and that she was someone you were considering."
ALINA - "Yeah, and then you got in my face and tried to silence me."
John - "I told you to talk to Daisy Mae about it. I gave you a chance to take action and change your situation, but instead you decided to throw a tantrum and now you're just digging yourself deeper."
ALINA - "F*** you, John. I'm not some tramp you can push around. You'd better hope I go home this week."
EUGENE - "Alina, stop yelling. You're just making it worse."
ALINA - "What? I'm not allowed to be mad?"
JULIAN - "This isn't good for anyone. We can talk this out later."

Alina finally relents and sits back down despite clearly still being riled up. Many of the other houseguests are shaken up by what's just happened. Daisy Mae is putting on a brave face, but you can tell that she's feeling hurt.

DAISY MAE - "If there are no further objections, this nomination ceremony is adjourned."

Daisy Mae grabs the nomination block and heads to the diary room to return it. The other houseguests get up and offer hugs to the nominees, though Alina refuses them and immediately storms off to the Have-Not room.

DAISY MAE - "I nominated Alina and Eugene because, even though The Senate wants me to backdoor Julian, I'd rather not have to break my word with him. Alina and Eugene have not performed well in the competitions thus far, so with them on the block it's more likely that they won't win and the nominations can stay the same. I wasn't sure who I actually wanted to go home this week but, after that stunt Alina pulled, she is 100% my target now."

ALINA - "What a surprise, I'm on the block! I already knew that most of the houseguests don't like me. So, when John told me I was getting nominated, I had nothing to lose. So go ahead and kick me while I'm down, but don't expect me not to retaliate. I'm gonna win this Veto, then I'm gonna win the next HOH, and then we'll see how this country hick and her little lap dog handle the heat."

EUGENE - "So I'm back on the block again. I knew this might happen. Historically in Big Brother, the Week 1 target tends to be someone people feel safe nominating again and again. However, as much I love Alina, she's done me a big favor by making herself such a public target. Even if I don't win the Veto, if I'm sitting next to Alina, I'm probably safe."

John - "Mission accomplished. I kept my ally Victoria off the block. However, Alina exposing that conversation we had isn't great for my game. I was hoping that, by telling her that information, I could potentially pull her in as an ally later, but now the spotlight is on all three of us. I did not want Alina to go home this week but, now that all this has happened, my hand might be forced."
