DV Day 11 - Yikes!

You’re surrounded! Something tells you it’s past midnight now…

“Jukes!” Hana shouts.

“What?” you demand.

“Jukes!” she repeats, dodging between the approaching women. Oh god. You go after her, pushing and scrambling past them and rushing into the woods.

The panic is real. You don’t even get that far before you realize you have no idea where you are or which way you’re going. The moon is bright, so you can kind of see, but still.

You catch up to Hana, who is freaking out. You’ve left them behind, so you should be okay. You grab Hana’s hands.

“Penis zombies,” she says with wide eyes.

“Yeah,” you reply, looking back into the woods. Are they still coming?

“What do we do?”

“I don’t know! In games there’s just guns and bullets lying around!” Hana squeaks.

OK, that is an escalation. You don’t want guns, you want to know what’s going on.

“Let’s just get out of here,” you say, leading her by the hand. Hana trots along behind you, but you aren’t sure where you’re going. Back to Camp Crystal Lake? Or back toward FUTA Camp? Or toward the lake? Well, it has to be one of those things, or you’ll reach the road… so you can’t really get too lost.

As you hurry through the woods, you think about how quickly tonight went back. One second you’re boning Hana in the moonlight, and then this. Crazy…

You see lights up ahead! That gives you hope, but that hope goes away the closer you get. You and Hana find a stone wall that appears to be surrounding a huge, old-fashioned house.

More of a mansion, really. Some lights are on in there, but the place has a spooky vibe, and there are black crows all over.

You step on something that crinkles. Puzzled, you pick it up. It’s a coupon for Moon Donuts. They don’t have those here in Florida, though. The only one you have ever heard of is in Raccoon City. That’s odd.
