Cynthia, the mayor of Ketchumville, entered the pet store.

"Oh!" Johanna said. "Madame mayor! What brings you here?"

"I want a pet," Cynthia said. "It's boring at the office by myself, so I think a Pokemon would be good company."

"Well, come with me," Johanna said. "I only have four right now, but I'm sure you'll find a good one."

She took Cynthia to the back room, where Cynthia looked over the Poke-women and made her choice.
