Donna Troy was a Young maiden Who was the sole survivor of a shipwreck. A ship that got set on fire while it was sinking. It was a very terrible day for the crew but the insurance company made a lot of money. (Almost like it was planted.)
Anyway by some miracle, maybe it was the goddesses Blessing, Maybe it was luck, She ended up in the Amazon island of Themyscira .
Thanks to the magic of the purple Ray and all of the techno magical items of the amazonians, Donna was given a pretty decent childhood. She had not a want for food for the islandhad plenty.
No What's She thirsted after most was a chance to leave to man's world. Like her adopted mother hyppolita had after World War II while her adopted sister was "playing" the JSA secretary.
Donna Troy wanted to see the outside world. And to grow among peers.
And so when she was of 14 years of age, a terrible foe struck Earth. One that united the mightiest heroes of the realm.
