Curiosity killed the cat

"But satisfaction brough it back" You thought to yourself, as you slowly crept towards the window that would allow you to take a quick peek at the raider who had so rudely awoken you.

Once you reached the window you steeled your nerves, reminded yourself what a bad idea this was and then quickly poked your eyes just high enough so you could look inside.

It was hard to see without the lights being turned on, but your eyes had allready adjusted to the darkness somewhat and you were able to make out a form moving around.
