Cuni

The Cuni are among the most prolific and widespread races throughout the cosmos. Due to their long ears and short fluffy tail, they are usually referred to as Bunny Girls. When Cuni wear clothing, it is invariably skimpy and revealing. Interestingly, even races that have had no known encounters with alien species contain numerous references to similar creatures. This has led some scholars to suggest that the Cuni may have once existed on those worlds but eventually died out.

Body type: Standard biped. Height typically ranges between 1.52 to 1.83 meters (5 feet to 6 feet). Weight typically ranges between 40 to 70 kilograms (90 to 150 pounds).

Appearance: They predominantly have light colored skin. Hair is present on head and crotch area surrounding genitalia. Common hair colors include White, Blond, Yellow, Pink, Red, Blue, Green, Brown, Grey, and Black. They have long ears and a short fluffy tail. Due to high metabolism and continual physical activity, they are extremely fit. The Cuni are generally considered to be very attractive by most other species.

Physical abilities: Below average strength. Above average speed, reflexes and jumping ability.

Growth rate: A Cuni can reach full maturity in as little 3 years.

Lifespan: A Cuni usually never lives beyond 24 years.

Intelligence: Below average. Most Cuni are never educated, and enjoy lives consisting almost entirely of engaging in sex, eating, and sleeping in that order of priority. However, there are documented examples of some Cuni that have completed several years of training (albeit with great difficulty) that were ultimately capable of learning some basic skills.

Sexual Characteristics: All Cuni are females with extremely high sex drive. Their unique reproductive physiology gives them the ability to mate with males of any species, as well as certain types of plants, and their orifices are able to stretch to accommodate the male sex organs of races several times their size. In some cases, offspring are nonviable, but otherwise the offspring are always Cuni which may include some characteristic from the father's race such as hair, skin or eye color. Gestation period is only 30 days. Multiple offspring per birth (1-12 typical). There are several documented examples of a single Cuni giving birth to over 100 offspring in a single year. When no males are available, it is common for Cuni to engage in sex with other Cuni or even females of other races to satisfy their sexual urges.

Dangers: Due to their prolific reproductive rate and rapid growth, if left unchecked, the rampant offspring from a single Cuni can rapidly overwhelm the resources of any ecosystem in a matter of years. In one case, a single fertile Cuni stowed away on a research ship and later escaped onto a newly found planet unbeknownst to the crew. In less than a decade, the entire planet had become overrun by Cuni who had nearly wiped out all food sources for the indigenous lifeforms. In large numbers, they can also pose a risk for males who become dehydrated, exhausted or crushed, and there are several records of males of various species that have died when sizable groups of Cunis continuously attempted to copulate with them, either simultaneously or in rapid succession. For this reason, most races that have encountered Cuni have strict policies on dealing with them, such as mandatory sterilization, or even extermination.

Additional details: Due to their high sex drive and attractive appearance, several races that have encountered the Cuni have put them to use as sex slaves after being properly sterilized. This is considered to be more compassionate than simply eradicating them. Cuni that are trained to provide basic cleaning or cooking skills are highly prized. However, since most have no useful skills beyond offering sexual pleasures, many races see them as somewhat of a scourge within their society. They are especially hated by prostitutes since Cuni don't charge for their services which quickly drives brothels out of business.
