The silence that settled over the interrogation chamber felt heavier than any threat he had uttered. Princess Leia Organa had submitted. He had watched her shoulders lower, her breathing shorten, her body become utterly still as she accepted his absolute control over the room. She no longer tested the chains or met his movements with open defiance. She had yielded to the reality that he held her life in his hands.

Yet she had not broken. The information remained locked behind determined eyes. Something about that realization disturbed him. His orders had been straightforward. Recover the stolen Death Star plans. Discover the location of the Rebel base. Crush the Alliance before it could mature into a meaningful threat.

Somewhere along the way, those objectives had become secondary. He no longer found himself questioning the prisoner simply because the Empire required answers. He wanted something else now. He wanted to witness the precise moment Princess Leia Organa ceased merely submitting to circumstance and instead surrendered her will.

He wanted to see conviction dissolve into hopelessness. He wanted to hear the truth offered not because it had been extracted, but because she had finally accepted resistance was meaningless. The desire had become intensely personal. Why? The question lingered longer than he cared to admit.

He had interrogated countless prisoners during the Clone Wars and the years since the rise of the Empire. Some shouted. Some pleaded. Some submitted almost immediately. Others resisted until exhaustion claimed them. Their names blurred together, remembered only as reports filed and missions completed.

Leia Organa should have been no different. Instead, every moment of obedience she displayed only sharpened his frustration. She stood where he ordered. She remained silent when commanded. She accepted his overwhelming authority without illusion. And still... She denied him the one thing he sought.

Every refusal made him want to continue. Every act of submission that stopped short of total surrender only deepened his resolve. It was irrational and inefficient. It was entirely beneath him. For the first time in many years, Darth Vader wondered if he had ceased serving his mission and had instead begun serving his own obsession.

Across the room, Leia watched him with confusion no less profound. She recognized what had happened to herself. The fear had not merely been fear. Standing before Darth Vader with his lightsaber poised inches from her face, she had yielded completely to the fact that she was powerless.

There had been no fantasy of overpowering him, no desperate attempt to spit in his face, no theatrical last act of rebellion. She had simply...submitted. She had accepted his dominance over her immediate fate because denying it would have been absurd. That acceptance should have horrified her. Instead, it had felt almost natural.

She despised that realization. Where had it come from? She had been raised by Bail and Breha Organa to stand proudly before tyrants, not bow before them. Yet something within her had become strangely willing to degrade herself, to obey and accept this role.

Several times she had considered inventing a convincing lie, sending Imperial forces chasing ghosts across the galaxy. The thought arrived only briefly before vanishing. No deception seemed worthy of the risk. Every answer that mattered emerged exactly the same.

Her body had yielded to the needy lust between her legs..Her conscience had not..The contradiction unsettled her. She wondered whether captivity itself had begun changing her, reshaping instincts she had never possessed before. She could not explain it, only feel it.

Beyond history itself, Darth Tempus watched through the crimson portal with quiet satisfaction. Neither soul had been rewritten. Such crude alterations would have shattered the timeline and exposed his hand immediately. Instead, he had poisoned them with echoes of himself.

Tempus knew obsession. Now Vader felt it..He knew the intoxicating desire to witness another soul finally yield completely. Now Vader pursued it. He knew the strange comfort found in weilding overwhelming power. Now Leia carried that mark within her. Tempus smiled beneath the weathered mask.

He had not planted foreign emotions. He had merely allowed fragments of his own darkest desires to seep through the cracks in time, where they intertwined with impulses already present. Vader's discipline had become fixation. Leia's courage had become a strange, unsettling willingness to submit externally while remaining utterly unconquered within.

Both believed the feelings were their own. Neither suspected a third will had gently tilted the scales. With a slow gesture, Tempus closed his hand. The crimson portal collapsed into a narrow line before vanishing altogether, leaving the Chamber of Chronos illuminated only by impossible clocks and the faint crimson glow of the Holocron of Darth Chronos.

Silence reclaimed the chamber. Tempus remained motionless for several moments. His satisfaction quickly gave way to discomfort. Every observation left traces. Vader's consuming fixation lingered within him. Leia's fearful submission echoed in his thoughts. He refused to let those echoes remain.

His hand closed around the massive hilt resting upon the obsidian dais. With a thunderous snap-hiss, the broad crimson blade erupted into existence, flooding the chamber with blood-red light. He inhaled once, then he moved.

The immense weapon flowed through ancient forms with startling grace. Heavy descending cuts transformed into fluid rotations. Broad sweeping arcs dissolved into controlled recoveries before surging into the next sequence. His pale body turned and pivoted across the rune-etched floor as the impossible clocks marked rhythms that belonged to no living era.

The kata was more than training. It was exorcism. Each precise movement severed another lingering thread tying him to Vader's obsession. Another measured step stripped away Leia's quiet surrender. Every deliberate cut reminded him that their emotions were tools to be used, not burdens to be carried.

Only when the final form ended did the chamber fall silent once more. The crimson blade withdrew into its hilt. Tempus lowered the weapon and regarded the Holocron in thoughtful silence. His corruption had worked. Now he would have to ensure Liea became infected by the very darkness he had so carefully cultivated in himself.
