Mary grew worried, the arm Kathy lay her head on moved to stroke her daughter's back. "Is that true? And what does it mean?"

Kathy smiled, enjoying the feel of her mother's fingers running up and down her bare back. As she looked into her mother's eyes she said, "Yeah. For one, it means that the future isn't set in stone. That's good and bad. It means I will be able to prevent some of the bad stuff from happening. But it also means I might not be able to regather all of Caleb's original harem members. That sucks because they were all wonderful women. And some other stuff is bound to change too. For example, you might not be able to cure Dad. You were only able to do it with Caleb's help."

And you won't get it this time. Not if I can prevent it. Kathy thought to herself. Dad doesn't need to get better for you to join my beloved's harem.

Mary sighed, "Well then, we will just have to do our best and hope. But on the bright side, or sort of the bright side, your dad can't leave me if he doesn't get better. I'd rather he was well and leave me than stuck in that chair, but... What can we do?"

"Don't worry about Dad, Momma. You just worry about you." Kathy said as she put an arm over her mother's belly and gave her side a hug. "For now, I wanna know where you're taking me on our date. THAT never happened in the old future either. We didn't get together until after Caleb stretched you. It was because of him that we finally did."

Mary smiled, "Then I like him already. As for our date, I wasn't planning anything fancy. Just some burgers and then head down to the Sunset theater. Terri looked up what they are showing and it happens to be Desert Hearts. It's an older movie, but one of my favorites. It's about a professor that recently divorced and is questioning her bisexuality."

"I've never heard of it," Kathy said.

Mary smirked, "Well, I'm warning you, there are a lot of sex scenes in this movie. And the Sunset is an adults only theater, so lots of people have sex in it. They don't just have women's theater benches either. They have actual beds too. Don't be surprised by that."

Kathy nodded, remembering some of the things Caleb told her about the original reality that differed from the world she knew. Things like businesses and even entire parts of the city being adults only areas. Areas where women and even men could safely have sex in public without the risk of children seeing them. The park he took her to on their first date was one such area, though he said that only became true after he changed the ratio of women to men to be six to one.

"Mom took me there on one of our first dates." Chris spoke, helpfully adding, "It's nice, but you got to get there really early to reserve one of the beds. It's not really worth the extra price for them though. The plastic covers make a lot of noise when you move around, and the smell of the disinfectant they spray them with between showings kinda lingers on them. It's best to catch one of the early shows so you don't have to deal with that."

Kathy smirked, "Well, we won't need to spring money for a bed. We've got several right here. We can just wait till we get home to make love again."

Kathy sat up and turned slightly so she could look down on her two lovers. "Speaking of money, Mom. I have a couple ideas on how to stretch our budget, and maybe make a little extra cash."

"I'm listening." Mary stated, giving her daughter her full attention. Money was always a struggle for their family.

"Well first, Cora said she uses a wind spell to help push her car along to save gas. It's not much, but every little bit helps. Then there is-"

Mary interrupted by blurting, "Cora becomes a witch too? You didn't tell me that. You said only the members of your boyfriend's harem became witches."

Kathy laughed, "Cora's a witch NOW, Momma. She's been a witch for almost two years, only we didn't find out till after... a certain thing happens."

She left out that Cora does join the harem. It wasn't something she wanted her mother to know just yet.

Seeing the surprised look on Mary's face, Kathy elaborated. "Cora became a witch when she lost her virginity. I know. I know. Kathy took a deep breath and let it out slowly. "It's about Mr. Creepy. And Gemma. He... rapes her before I could get there and stop him. I tried. I could feel her pain in the harem link, but by the time I got there, he'd already stolen her virginity."

Mary fumed in sympathy, "That's so mean, poor thing. But about this Mr. Edwards. I'll talk to the principal and get that shit straightened right out."

Kathy snorted, "Don't bother Momma. Mrs. Richie can't do anything about it unless he does something physical first. And he's careful not to ogle his students when other people are paying attention. It won't be a problem this time anyway. I know exactly what events led up to it, and this time I won't let them happen."

If we do use Operation Creepy Teacher again, this time I'm gonna be right outside that damn door the instant he goes inside. He won't lay a damn finger on her before I blow the door off its hinges.

Shaking herself out of her thoughts she said, "Anyway, back to our money issues. We can save on the electric bill by heating and cooling the house with magic, and we can freeze food the same way. Also, I can help stretch our food budget by growing food super fast. I did that with the flowers at Caleb's mansion, so I don't think vegetables would be much different. It's early in the year, but that just means I'll have to grow stuff in one of the spare bedrooms, but I've got plenty of mana for that. And then there are a few other things we could do, but they are a lot harder too. Like sorting out and recycling the iron and aluminum in dirt."

Kathy was careful not to mention all the unethical ways she could get money. She knew who wins the super bowl next week, and could place a bet. And there were many other ways she could make money as well, illegal ways. But even though such a thing was tempting, such crimes would certainly have victims.

Mary felt her chest swelling with pride for raising such a giving daughter. She put her hand on Kathy's thigh and squeezed it even as she said, "Baby Girl, you don't have to do all that. This is my problem, not yours. You let me worry about the bills. You should be concentrating on school."

Kathy snorted at her mother. "My grades won't suffer, Momma. In fact, they will be better than ever. There are several different spells to increase memory retention and stuff. You'll see. And once your mana pool is big enough, you can help too."

It was at that moment that they heard Mark hollering for Mary.

Mary sighed even as she began to sit up. "Sorry girls. I'd love to cuddle with you some more, but Mark needs me."
