Any guesses?
Crystal Ford
Looking up from your phone, you saw your friend, Alan's face in a familiar twist. His’ “Crystal Ford looked at me” on cloud nine face. “Crystal’s here?” You ask surprised that the queen bee of your high school years would fly this far way from her hive. “Well it isn’t like we went out of country for college,” he quipped tossing his bag onto your dorm’s couch. “Yea but we did pick a lesser known uni in the next state over,” you complained throwing your head back. “I know you don’t have the best relationship with her, but it’s not like we are going to see her much,” Alan explain slumping atop his bag.
“Dude you literally said you saw her go to the floor above us, most likely her boyfriend,” you said narrowing your eyes at your best friend. “Maybe she’s helping move someone it,” your friend threw out trying to cover up his lapse in logic “Like one of her brothers,” he continued. “Still isn’t better,” you replied as an alarm you set went off. “What was that?” Alan asked in hope of changing the subject. “Group project,” you answered simply picking up your bag, “In the first two weeks of college?” He chuckled in suspicion, picking up his head to watch your face.
“It’s less a project and more an introduction for the groups we will be working in for the year,” you explain, double checking you had your notebooks and folders, before walking out.
Not four steps into the hall way you ran into your old classmate. “Oh Jeremy” Crystal said surprised. “I just saw Alan give me a goofy wave then sprint to the door.” Giving Alan a sarcastic thanks in your thoughts, you explained how you and him decided to move out of state as both you and him burnt some bridges at graduation. “Yeah, my older brother did the same, though I’m just up here helping my other one move in with him then going back home.” Crystal explained, causing your stomach to drop like stone. “Wait Henry is here, with Jamie?” You asked hopeing the Ford clan had more males besides the two you have met.
Henry Ford was a giant of a man that once dislocated a hockey player’s jaw over dating his sister. Thankfully he was two years above you so you hardy interacted with him, but the time you did it was about Jamie. Jamie Ford was a lengthy kid with rusty red hair, pale skin and grey green eyes, to say the least he was an easy target for teasing and pranks that you took part in. So every once in a while you and your group of your asshole friends would have to endure a yelling from Henry, and if it was a bad joke or prank would have to offer up a sacrifice for a beating.
So you weren’t up for meeting either one as of yet in case times go sour. “Yea, Jamie picked here because of all the tease you gave him, and Henry to protect him for his last two years in college.” The Ford sister continued her thought before trying to burn holes at the side of your head, “Hey, you know that I was only there for half of those pranks, even then I never laid a hand on him and I was the one to set up a ride for him if it went to far,” you said trying to retain from a shout. As Crystal readied a reply, you felt a notification go off in your pocket, checking it, you saw it was a message saying everyone was ready. “Running late,” Crystal asked annoyed, clearly wanting to respond to your statement, “Yea, see ya never,” you called jogging to the nearest exit.
As you walk to the library, do you meet anyone?
