Chapter 10
by halfperv
What's next?
Crossing the river
You decide to go for the easy stuff to carry, and that would be the whip and the locket. You wear the Snake Whip as a belt, and you wear the locket.
At the last moment you also decide to fill your pockets with coins. Worst case scenario you will lose them.
After you are done, you start climbing down the pier, and you let the water take you away. It isn't easy to keep yourself afloat with all the shit you are carrying, and your hurt leg but you manage to avoid drowning. Some of your coins are lost in your struggle.
Some time later you are at the other side of the river, exhausted but alive. You left your spear behind, but it wouldn't be possible to take it with you through the river anyway. If you return to the other side from somewhere close you here you can retrieve it later.
However you have now some options on what to do next.
You could wait to ambush Siki. You are better equipped and she will be tired from her recent activities, but you are exhausted too, and if things go bad you won't be able to run away.
You could avoid her and go for the human village, but you have no idea how you are even supposed to get inside.
You also had thoughts of going to the Worgs or at the Harpies and try to negotiate.
Finally you could also go for the Keep of Regret, but you aren't sure what to expect there.
What do you do?
1 Ambush Siki
2 Human Village
3 Worgs
4 Harpies
5 Keep of Regret

[Orcs And Outposts] (Multi-Quest: Storytellers Welcome!)
Play As One Of The Classic 'Monster' Races From D&D In A World Where It's Humans & Their Allies Who Are Evil.
It is a generic Fantasy world, with one major difference: humans and the other classic protagonist races are evil, decadent, and corrupt, while the classic 'monsters' are noble and virtuous. You take on the role of one of those 'monsters' while they try to overcome the alliance of the 'Civilized' Races and free the world from their oppression.
