Credits (200 Credit)

Lana (digging up 200 credits from her pocket and tosses it to the chef): Okay, here, take that "donation". Now, tell me what I want to know, or I'll be taking back triple that amount from you!

Chef: Always a pleasure making business with you! So, all I know is the following: I'm preparing the Duchess's food every day at the same time and leave the kitchen at the same, everybody knows this. A good daily routine is key for a healthy life, right?

Lana: Get to the point.

Chef: Okay, so. I always taste the food I make once it's done to ensure she only gets the best of the best! If I had poisoned it, I would have been dead by now, isn't that right?

Lana: You could poison it after you have tasted it... So if that's all you wanted to tell me...

Chef: No, no, there's more! The two fellows outside do their parts well, but don't tell the Duchess, they aren't the most cool headed ones...! They could be... "Tempted", to forget their loyalty from time to time, this has happened before and will certainly happen again... I would advise you to have a little chat with them...!

Lana: What do you mean by "this has happened before"?

Chef: I wasn't there when it happened, but I hear one of them mentioning, they had allowed someone else into the kitchen despite my direct order not to. My best guess is that the cupbearer is the culprit, I have never liked that fellow! Always wanted to become nobility, but the Duchess never really cared about his ambitions! Told him he will be a noble after 10 years of loyal service... That was more than 20 years ago and the man is still as much a commoner as I am! He is the only one who touches the food once I have prepared it, who else could put anything dangerous into it, if not him?!

Lana: I see. I'll pay them all a visit soon enough and hear them out.

Chef: Good, good, find whoever is responsible for making a bad name for my dearest specialties!
